I got a 2023 Donruss choice for $225 and got a Wemby base choice worth about $100 a Austin reaves /9 that I have priced at $100 a Marcus sasser rated rookie auto /8 that I have priced at $200 and a couple other numbered and decent rookies and got $500 value overall!
The only cards I would invest in are tobacco cards from the early 1900's. You can still find some reasonably priced in decent condition. In 20-30 years they'll be almost non existent and worth 500-1,000% more than today. There are a lot of wealthy people snatching them up like they did in the 1800's with art work.

Nice looking cards. But kinda low level to the floor. Couple nice rookies in kessler and Murray. But the ceiling is rrally hi in this product. Can hit some bangers in those boxes
i came across some marked dwn retail (grabbed one) 2021-22 Panini Prizm & Optic & Select NBA Blasters marked dwn to $19.99 at my Walmart i dont think i got back $10 of value Straight 🗑🚮 i stopped ripping once the Covid Boom went away lol i made alot of $$$ during that time my 🔌 was direct wit an MJ Holding Vendor those were some amazing times 🤞🏻🤑
The more I watch people buying and opening cards... The more it's pretty clear it's generally a total loss. Which is unfortunate because it's very fun but not worth it at all imo

This is why I buy singles $300 would get a decent name (auto, rpa, etc...) or a couple of decent ones.
To hit on a single box, is hard... i always buy at least 2 or 3 of whatever box im getting to make it really worth it.
