Med School is just 4 years then after that you take your post grad internship, then 3-5 yrs of residency, then 2-4 years of fellowship. When you are already nearing the end of your training, you actually forget the 4 years of med school. Then you realize you spent 15 years to become an ACTUAL SUBSPECIALIST. 🙄😂

Me too! I can't absorb easily the infos inside classroom at madalas lutang ako. Hindi rin ako makapagreview ng may kasama and then pag nirerecord ko yung notes at magisa lang ako, naiintindihan ko ng sobra basta basta nakakopya din ako ng notes.

And I just recently started liking to browse youtube and haay, bakit ngayon ko palang natagpuan ang channel mo.. It' been days when I started binge-watching your videos every study break. And your videos really just fan my burning out fire of passion for medicine back to life. 😊 For the past few days, I've been freaking out since I feel like I'm the only one in class who did not keep all notes and files since 1st year med. Hello ate Aura! I'm not a med student but I always watch your vids. ❤ Its so motivating lalo na this one. I remember one of my blockmate who's always taking me as his competitor, I don't want to feel like that 'cause I don't want pressure. But lately due to family issues, I've been pressured by them (which they haven't ever since I go to college), I keep it back in my mind but whenever I am going to get low scores from my average my inner self starting to freak out, but thanks to this vid, I must not be conquered by the pressure but rather take this everything easy and just do my best. Is pursuing medicine still worth it sa bagong educational system ngayon aka k12? Kasi most students na hindi na naabutan ang k12 ay papasok ng med school when they are probably 20-22 years old tapos kami na dadaan pa sa senior high we still have 2 more added years sa highschool then 4 years premed tapos 4 years med school. Sana gagawa kayo ng video for us k12 students, that would be really helpful :) more power sa inyo po! 💕

Good question. But again, age doesn't matter. The time it takes to pursue a dream doesn't matter. Wwwwait it kinda does if you're being practical at wala na talagang susuporta sayo pero kung meron naman, don't let this be a reason to hesitate.
peperojin true pero natatakot lang kasi ako kasi baka masyadong "burden" na ako sa finances ng family namin kasi i would still be studying at the age when im supposed (or expected) to be earning already. But my family is so supportive in my medical dreams so im so blessed nevertheless 💓
Additional two years is not too much naman. I have lots of batchmates who took 1-2 year break before starting medschool. I also know of 30 year olds going into medschool. Age is not a big deal. :)

Is pursuing medicine still worth it sa bagong educational system ngayon aka k12? Kasi most students na hindi na naabutan ang k12 ay papasok ng med school when they are probably 20-22 years old tapos kami na dadaan pa sa senior high we still have 2 more added years sa highschool then 4 years premed tapos 4 years med school. Sana gagawa kayo ng video for us k12 students, that would be really helpful :) more power sa inyo po! 💕

Good question. But again, age doesn't matter. The time it takes to pursue a dream doesn't matter. Wwwwait it kinda does if you're being practical at wala na talagang susuporta sayo pero kung meron naman, don't let this be a reason to hesitate.

true pero natatakot lang kasi ako kasi baka masyadong "burden" na ako sa finances ng family namin kasi i would still be studying at the age when im supposed (or expected) to be earning already. But my family is so supportive in my medical dreams so im so blessed nevertheless 💓
Nonna Echavez If 17 ka right now tapos assuming grade 12 na rin. You'll be graduating med at 25. I think It's okay pa since they are supportive naman?
Additional two years is not too much naman. I have lots of batchmates who took 1-2 year break before starting medschool. I also know of 30 year olds going into medschool. Age is not a big deal. :)
