    Hello, Doc! Thanks for this video. Very informative gid. Btw I'm from UPV din, an incoming 2nd year. However, I want to transfer the next sem in UPM with BS Nursing as my pre-med program. Do you recommend this program po ba for someone who would go to med school after? Or if not, what's the best choice po ba? (I don't wanna pursue pharma na kasi since 5-year program siya nor medtech since hindi siya inooffer ni UPM) However, if BS Bio naman po ang kukunin ko, what are the job opportunities po ba if ever later I decided not to continue med school? Also, one of my worries din in pursuing Nursing in UPM is that, I've heard about the RSA, and so it would delay my plan to enter med proper after graduation. I'm really confused na po talaga right now huhu any advice/recommendations po?🥺 Your response is very much appreciated, Doc! Thank you.

    • @JeremyCeriales
      @JeremyCeriales  Před rokem

      Hello, Lyn! 😊 nursing is a great course in itself, with or without proceeding to med school. Wala naman talagang best or perfect choice, kasi each program/course has its advantages.
      For BS Bio, marami actually job opportunities when you explore the field. Pwede research, post-grad studies, marketing sa mga research companies selling their products/tech, etc.
      For the RSA, pwede after ng med school isabay yung RSA ng nursing and med if sa UPCM magmemed. And actually, mabilis lang talaga yung RSA. You're still young and maraming tao na nagmemed "late" sa late 20's or early 30's nila. May advantages din if may work experience na kasi naka gain ka na ng skills not learned in the 4 corners of the classroom.
      In conclusion, choose a course that you are interested and enjoy learning. Iba iba kasi yung perspective ng tao on practicality, so it really depends on you. Hope this reply helps. 🙂

      Hello! As long as cum laude standing, meaning a grade of 1.75 or better, you are eligible to apply for the program. It really is for you to decide whether it is ideal or not, or if it's worth the risk or not. We know people who entered the program (MD or MD-PhD) in their mid-20s and they are doing great and thriving. You can make a pros and cons table, and reflect if you really want to become a doctor. Hello po. Sorry po if dito po ako magsiseek ng advice, di ko na po kasi alam san ako hihingi ng advice kasi wala pong nakikinig sa mga family ko at friends ko. Hehe. Uhmm, so ayun po, I finished BEED nung 2019 po. And tbh, di po ako masaya sa kurso ko dahil di ko naman po ito ginusto. Gusto ko pong kurso nung una are either pharm, medtech, or psychology para po pang proceed ng medicine kaso ayaw po nila so wala po akong choice kundi mag educ. Hahaha. I went with the flow na lang para iwas gulo at disappointments and I was thinking na maybe I'll love being a teacher someday. Pero wrong. I never liked it. It was never my calling po. I felt like crying, every time I stand in front of my students, thinking how I really hate my job.
    I worked for 2 years and I saved a lot of money para makapag proceed sa medicine. Ang tanong ko lang po is do I still need to take another science related course para po maka proceed ng medicine? If hindi po, can I take the NMAT immediately? Sana po may makasagot. Thank you and God bless po.
