Me wanting to IRL drift: "The best I can do is Assetto Corsa"
Hey, me too friend. I live in an apartment and can’t afford real drifting anymore. But Assetto and VR makes it feel almost real!
One Corsa or another, drifting is drifting
Me onac amd carx ps4
@@IdealMediaChannel to bad where inflated like 7% in the usa we have the highest inflation in the world fact how check the charts cheap cars aren’t cheap anymore because that
Fr, assetto corsa with japanese cars as they are extremely expensive now ;-; (I'm also 17 so...no driving for me yh)
I would definitely add on to this list:
C5 Corvette
Nissan Hardbody
Porsche 944
Good options, a little tougher to work on but I’ve definitely seen all of those at drift events
all cost above 30k in my country
@@adamhano2698 what the fuck in poland you can buy 944 for 5k
C5 for sure or sn 95
@@IdealMediaChannel The C5 corvette is not hard to work on wtf?
0:12 "More smoke than your local WRX meet" That one there was a violation 😂
Between the vape pens and the head gaskets, I'm pretty sure I was right on target.
@@IdealMediaChannel LMAOOOOO
I would add all the RWD turbo Volvos to the list, not just the 740. They can all be had for less than any car on this list, they can be tuned quite easily to make more than 200whp and the stock internals can handle up to 300whp depending on the specific engine. They are lighter than many cars on this list and they actually have a big aftermarket in Europe so you can find mods easily etc etc
Volvos are great. The possibilities are endless with them. I want to swap in a an older T5 the 2.3 5cylinder turbo into a Volvo S90 and use a either a BMW transmission or a Supra transmission since it already has an Aisin in it shouldn't be too hard to make something work
They are pretty good but the suspension is a bit funky when stock.
@@lordofkeebs8424 Volvo made the suspension like that to discourage people from going fast in their cars originally
but they are very rare and hard to find in good condition especially here in the north
All you need to drift a volvo is a rwd model, welded diff & stripped interior (& probaby should have a turbo)
I can’t beleive they didn’t add it to the list.
I got into drifting with a Nissan hardbody. They are still really cheap and they come with the single jingle 240sx motor. You cannot go wrong with a cheap drift truck
The one I had was a 6 cylinder. It was a fun cheap drift truck
In Poland you can buy BMW E46 for 1000$ but 350z worth more than 13000$😢
i’ll buy u a z if you buy me a e46🥺
Same here in Romania
Same in portugal
E46 3.5k-7k
350z goes for around 20k its absurd
Dam it's the other way around here in USA you can get a 350 cheap but a E46 for around 10-15k
Croatia same
For around $4,500 I found the mazda rx7 fc, which had a bad ford engine instead of a rotary engine. I also found a 1jz vvti and r154 5 speed gearbox for a total of $6500. I want to put them together and make a nice drift car.
that would be beautiful
What I would recommend is take your budget and double it. That should be what you expect to pay for a decent drift stud. Maybe it wont be double, but it will definitely be more than you expect
I love E46 but you have to put the same amount or more money to fix/replace all the parts. German cars really cost a lot to maintain.
True I own a Volkswagen gti 2010 it’s hard
If you buy a hooptie for 500$, then yeah
Amazing video As Alaways! Love from Sri Lanka!!!
Thank you for the video!
It was really helpful!❤👍
You might have found one of the cheapest Fox Body in the country. Unless you have been under a rock they are one of the most sought after classic vehicles right now. 6k is pretty much a steal with that mileage listed, if it's all original with the mileage included. V8 Fox Bodies are not cheap otherwise.
Which is nonsense because they made a metric ton of them and stayed around 3-5k for nearly a decade in used markets. I know they suffer from the drift tax but it weirds me out to think people are paying big premiums for them.
Picked up a g35 sedan 6 speed for 2500🔥 gunna weld the diff and send it!!!
I just bought my SC400 for 3k and it’s bone stock no rust paint still looks amazing no sun damage only this was a minor dent
5:02 best advice on finding one of these cars is to first find somebody who already owns a working one and ask them if you could buy another one of theirs thats not working for cheap. Chances are they will have at least 2 sitting in their backyard
another good one is the lexus is200. u can get it manual with a 1g fe (2L i6) or the 2j non turbo, rwd, and lexus reliability
For peoples around Germany, opel omega will be good choice. Its like drifting with boat but hey,It drifts really well!
This is all pretty market specific. In my country, Z's and Fox Bodies are usually 10-15k+ and E36 manuals are up there too. Our scene is totally dominated by a certain RWD, turbo euro car that I shall not name.
Bro give us a hint :D
sup man love the vids, keep it going
E46 gave me nightmares. When I was a child, my mom would drive it but then it would always almost overheat driving normal speeds and it even caught on fire once.
my pick would be old ke70 with 3sgte engine which are plenty here in my country for roughly around $2-3k swapped.
I actually had a ke70 wagon once! I tried drifting it but it was bone stock and didn’t have the power. Fun car though.
@@IdealMediaChannel stock its very slow engine needs to be replaced for real fun where i live engine swapping is not that hard or expensive
Alhamdulillah
Crazy how the prices can change, there is a 3sgte swapped ke70 mint condition for sale and it was 19k€. It did include an half cut ke70 trailer too but yeah
@@nohaistavittusit494 thats too much for the ke70 but its a fun little car with this engine which should be done by factory
94-97 Thunderbird v8s or SCs are great project drift cars
I've watched my son drift, especially his '89 240 SX with the LS swap; I'm still not sure as I see drifting (as I'm almost 67 yrs old) as a more passive activity.......
It’s very fun man!
Boss go ahead and do it..you're not going to regret it.. Trust me..
@@Abo.kaiser It looks fun when done well but it seems so counterproductive to going fast....sure has its fans
@@agrippa1234 the point isn’t to go fast it’s about control and finesse .
@@24kNick I get that but its more car dancing (around a track) just find it odd....
Seeing using Robywork video is awesome, and if you didn't know Robywork is from small country called Latvia. And BTW you should check Robywork
Nah that opening was ice cold. It was probably taken during the summer but it was so cool it started to snow
I can say the G35 is a perfect basically 350z me an my buddie growing up hade a G35 automatic but slides like butter on a hot pan
Gonna set my 04 g35 coupe up for drifting 😝
And also the Toyota soarer is the sc300 Japan got but they also had 1jz option in there market that can also get with a r154
I was happy that I saw in this video a e46 and a e36 bcause my cousin had a 325i e46 and I plan to buy this month my e36 318i
i think its depends on the country, in indonesia, all of them is collector item (except bmw series) 350z cost 35k++, rx8 is too rare here, the price is depends on the seller, mustang is 40k++ish, the only cheap car for drift in indo is e36/e46/cefiro a31/ ke70 (maybe, idk if its good for drift)
Ya know or buy an IS300 and weld the diff( if it doesn’t have the lsd) but people slide them with or without the LSD and in auto or manual
So rare to find in manual but yes, a good car.
Hey Squidd! Now, you know how to fire me up. I’m going drifting!
I live in California LA and the car I would Buy is the Fox Body 1990 to 1993 Mustang GT 5 Speed Manual Transmission, though California Emissions Standards prohibit me from going there. Alternate Infinity with a real 6 Speed Manual Transmission 👦🏻👍🏻🏁🏎
E36 definetly, somehow it became one of my favorites but its staying my favorites, i just hope the junkyard doesnt clear all their cars in the future.
you missed rx7 fc witch comes with 13lb turbo rotary motor for around 8 to 10k also rear wheel drive and initial d
I would add all the Lexus, is300 and ls400. Then the old Toyota pickups w the 1uz and the Nissan hardbodies.
Ideal cars making car lists, might have to sub
Yeah we're trying out this list thing. It's new to us 😂
For the foxbodys they actually have a large following so they're getting expensive I've seen just rolling bodies for 12000
Show up to the drift event looking like your grandma and blow everybody's minds 😂
I got an rx8 and its lovely
Where I live the sc3/400 are cheap so might go for that
An Rx8 is my dream car and I'd take it to Angel Motorsports and have them do an REW swap and build about 400hp and I'd do the rest myself. Dont know if I would do drifting in it but it could be a definite possibility
Where are u located that's one in Serria Vista az at a shop that just sitting outside.
Here in NZ I can get a low km/mile RX8 for under $4000
great video
Coolest drift car ever in my opinion is the 2006 mitsubishi lancer evolution ix the one from Tokyo drift was just perfect
I got my e36 manual, running and with a decent body for 1200 AUD Lol
I live in Georgia (small country in Europe)
And there e46 are very cheap under
4000$ max price on convertible models are around 4500$
I'm getting ready to buy a new edge mustang gt to start drifting
Q grande pongamoslo a prueba hablando sobre coches de drift
I was building a pretty nice G35 and I had just taken the entire engine out , took it apart to the block and back together again , a week later, it got totalled
💔💔
brooooo
I will choose E36 🔥🔥
Could you do cheap drag cars next ?
Aaaand that is someone representing from Dhaka!!! @3:16, also there is a secret Toyota Luxury machine that has everyone's fave JDM Inline 6 motor but I would keep that a secret because I plan to acquire it after 3 years!
btw can u guess some? lemme know in the comments
so what do you guys think of a fourth gen F-body(1998-2002)? LS1, 3400lbs, 325 horsepower with tons of mods protential. we have had a '98 Firebird formula with 600 horsepower(because it spent most of its life as a drag car) for 17 years now. The suspension is now set up for autocross but isn't that the old drift car ideal, drag car in the back and autocross up front? (btw, it handles like its on rails and we've brought the weight down to around 3000lbs so dont even with the weight jokes lol)
They're on the rise. A company called "Drift American" is even selling angle kits
@@bennyb.1742 that's badass!
Its your car but I wouldn't drift a Firebird especial last gen. Wasn't but a few years ago V8 Firebirds were selling for over MSRP. Formulas were almost over 45k. But if the weak V8 Foxbody can make the list here, so should the much stronger Firebird.
@@EjinRenos Thats something I hadn't considered. might be pricey to replace if I crash it, thanks for the input man:).
I think one of the good car for drift is 80'toyota hilux diesel i have drift that car before it's very good handling that i spin into my neighbors wall
0:31 is it just me or is that engine having a field day
Guys, you in America are lucky cuz here in EU 350z is around 15k, S13 15k-20k. Cheers from Italy
The white fox body drives at my local track
Nissan 350Z all day for drifting at least for me because that's my childhood dream car and I might actually buy one this year or even Nissan Skyline GTS-T R32 Coupe Type M. However let's hope that the pandemic doesn't cause us too much like it did for the last 2 years.
What car is in the icon picture ? Yellow w/ big spoiler and pop up lights ?!?????
just picked up a 2002 bmw 330ci for 600 bones 😁
Tbh the simulator is the best option to start drifting now a days
i got to drifting with a 1k bmw e36
edit: 3:35 in my country u can get an e46 328 for less than 5k, and it's the best variation u can start with
I just bought a 350Z and I’m traveling from Arizona to Oregon! Not The best car up here on the ice😂
That was sooooo cool 😵 I sooo want to be a race car driver
Also in Georgia ( small country in Europe) other BMW’s from 1990’s and 20
Oh my bad I was going to write that BMW’s from 90’s and 00’s are very cheap in Georgia :)
Interresting to see the price diffrence between the staates and europe.
i have a 350z top spec.. they are super fun, i dont drift it tho.
Cheap 740 like under 8000€ are rusty chassis whit rebuild ready engine and brocken trans
i got my 330 ci for 1k solid running and driving car
I do own a Z tho it’s great 😁
If you want a cheap drift car gets an old compact truck super lightweight so they're easy to swing and have just enough horsepower to slide
Intro🔥🔥🔥
I taught that you will also tell something about the lexus is300
What website you using to find these cars
And the slept on z31 300zx
I’m definitely going with the
“Ford e36”
I should get a reliant supervan and become the next fujiwara
Yoooo!! 6:49 is my drone footage!!
I'm a little upset they cut out the 360 tbh
Great shot! I'm getting in to FPV drifting footage myself!
@@IdealMediaChannel it's so much fun! That is all I do!
In europe e46 and e36 are the most popular cheap drift cars, and they prices are like 4 times lower than in US
I’d think a 370z not only do they look better then the 350 they also have more upgrades
Cost a lot more though!
they cost like 20k
@@corvette6 i can get one brand new with a rebuilt title for 12k where im at
@@ZenCyde lucky you
I got my 370 for 12k from my brother. Unfortunately it’s auto but I couldn’t pass up the deal. Low miles and Monterey Blue. It’s easy to get it slightly sideways on the streets…I’d love to rip it in an open parking lot soon. They for sure have gone up in price especially for the 6MT
I was coming to look for some cheap hidden gems but I live in Cali and all these have the bro tax of being minimum $10k smh
Thumbnail "CHEAP AF"

whats the best websites to buy aftermarket car parts?
I love the mx5 1995
U can get bmw e46 in latvia for 600$-2000$ and in verry good condition
Would add the 2010-2012 Hyundai Genesis coupe
What site or app does he find all these cars in
That lada at the start. Classic
An absolute best choice for cheap drifting
@@nohaistavittusit494 confirmed
Ngl, my E36 M3 shoots around the corners like with a hot knife through butter
What happened to the 180sx and laurel??
New edge mustang is the way to go
What about BMW 316 1989 "Cube"
G37 would also be good specially the manual
SAVE THE MANUALS!!!
And I’m definitely not saying this just because I recently got one 😐..
manual g37 are almost impossible to find, z make better drift cars and they are around the same price of a g
I must say I had a 350z and they were piss easy to slide my one was 6 speed manual but yeah when ever I was board even just cruising I could kick the ass out going around a corner there was enough power where uou need it even stock it was a fun car to have at the time I still miss it but those things drink more fuel then I did alcohol 🤣🤣
I dont know where you get these prices but here in germany you cant any of these for under 15k
I would like to have a is200 as a drift car
I just sold a 2005 350 z with automatic for 7k, I thought it was worth more but could not find a buyer to pay what i see on car gurus
Honestly happy the rx8 is up here im planning on getting one for my first car I know it has a lot of problems but I’m fine with that
whats the websites u find the cars
sc400 did not come in manual, gotta k24 swap or thats the easiest at least
