So, for anyone that isn't sure, avoiding the brown, bleedy "merky-ness" the best way is to only put cool colors next to cool colors and warm next to warm, so the main colors this happens with are green and red as that makes brown - a color wheel will help a LOT with this and help.l you chose your color scheme without having to worry about them mixing and not looking right - warm vs cool tones 💖
This is what I was going to say was to go by a color wheel! That would be the best bet on not getting any muddy areas! 💕

actually if you get rid of yellow and orange,,and green, you can use rest of the rainbow, cuz yellow and purple make brown,,but yes that also works :)
Any colours that are complementary (opposites of each other) on the colour wheel will make a brownish colour when mixed together :)

So stoked to see someone finally using this stuff! I have this kit and I ADORE it. It's amazing. I honestly am a big fan of traditional gel, and really wanted to try the Young Nail's synergy gel but it's sooo pricey. I did buy this set on Amazon, btw. In any case, these little squeeze bottles make working with gel so much easier. I make killer full-gel press-on sets with this stuff.
Oh, I should mention, one thing I read about this stuff after buying it is that you can't soak it off with acetone. It has to be drilled off. I wouldn't recommend doing full nails with this unless you've got a drill and you're skilled with it. What I do is always place a thin layer of clear acrylic or polygel underneath and only work with the Qickgel in thin layers over top. That way it's super easy to drill it off and then soak off the rest when you get to the clear underneath :)
Is it easy to blend them to make an ombré?
@@Tenuous.tomato I've def found that it is b/c of the consistency of the gel. I put blocks of both colors on the nail then just take my brush and do a swishing motion that blends the two colors together and it looks quite good :)
Would you say this is as easy as other hard builder gels - like IBD?
@@estalocaconnie Definitely! Though I will say that I sometimes have hard time making it nice and smooth the way I can make a nice builder gel lay down. So, I typically will use it without caring about how smoothly it turns out, file it down, then encapsulate with clear builder gel I can lay down in a nice, smooth layer.

Use Jamaican black castor oil on your cuticles!! It’s amazing 😉 heals skin and seriously makes nails grow fast

Not sure what Jamaican black is but even normal castor oil on hair is amazing I put in a spray bottle diluted with cool boiled water and spray it a few hrs before I wash my hair once a week

I have such a love-hate relationship with matte top coat. I do love the way most colors look matte but it also gives me this cringy dry feeling like it's a chalkboard.

Hi xx I love you channel, I recently found it and I think you make some awesome nail looks 😍✨💗🐳 I will just say cause I’ve seen many nail practitioners cut and scratch out the cuticles and I don’t know why they are taught/ do this as it can be painful and damaging and cause infections too. I have known this information for years but I still see this damaging method being taught and performed. When it’s so simple and easy to wash hand in warm water and gently push back the cuticle. Everyone will have different opinions but I just wanted to give this helpful information as I really like your creative style and I think your a cool person 💗🐳✨🌟

I love this idea and how it came out! I dont know much about builder gel but maybe it would blend a tad bit more and look even more tie dye if you brush it smooth? Either way I love this set!

Those ball point tools are so good I use mine for nail art and for levelling the loose builder gel on my non dominant hand it’s great for that

Living for the pink packaging! It seems like it’s a mix of poly gel and builder gel I feel it would be super easy to work with and very forgiving for beginners! 🔥🔥 young nails protein bond is 🔥🔥🔥I like enailcouture they have pretty long nail forms! You can make your won dehydrator half rubbing alcohol half acetone!

Generally people don't use critical oil with a matte polish
A heat spike with gel will happen if you've filed your natural nail too thin, or if you've applied too thick of a layer of the gel (I am a nail tech) :)

I cure a swatch on the lid of all my gel polishes. It’s super helpful so you can see it’s true color real quick since the color on the label isn’t always exactly what you are going to get.
Can you please do a video on how you remove the builder gel/poly gel nails that you do? I ruined my nails pretty bad filing off my builder gel so now I’m scared to use it again. I heard that you can’t soak them off, so how do you file them off safely? These nails turned out so cute by the way!!! ☺️

This looked like more work than just squeezing different color polygel in a dish, swirling them around a bit and then putting it on the nail. That’s what I did with my last set. It came out so cute. This set you did turned out really pretty. More work but very pretty.

Oh I love to tie dye! It’s definitely a *”Love or Hate”* thing for most people though!
It was actually my *”Secret Weapon”* in my dating years...(If your curious, here’s why!!).
So I‘d do this as one of the first few dates, when you’re becoming more comfortable and less nervous/guarded around each other, but still feeling things out.
The reason it became something I started using regularly, is because:
(1) It’s an uncommon date activity
(2) Tie Dye can look awesome whether it’s made by *newbies or experts!*
(3) It’s a lot of fun (well I think it is, but it’s not always everyone’s “thing”-which is fine too!😊)
And (4) If they end up being “the one,” it gives you both a cute/silly memento from the beginning of your relationship!❤️.
So I soon realized that this particular activity would almost ALWAYS break down the *”on your best behavior barrier”* and gave me a glimpse of their genuine self...like:
•How they handled doing something new/they weren’t “good” at.
•If they’re a “perfectionist” or a “go with the flow” person.
•How they handled messiness *{side note:* I would ONLY do this at MY apartment or outside} ...because potentially flinging dye all over someone else’s place, is just a dick move! 😆 *{Also a helpful lil “pro-tip” is to hit up a dollar store and buy a few cheap plastic tablecloths to protect the area!}
•It let me see if they were a high/medium/low maintenance personality (

I've been doing mine and my daughter's nails for bout a year now I started out with Poly Gel but recently been playing around with acrylics and honestly Poly Gel has spoiled me as it allows me lots of time to shape the nail. I like the acrylic too because it forces me to get it right faster if you get my drift. I absolutely love this set of nails you did, omg their so cute 😍!
