No island berth in a 47 footer?

yes, an Island berth is standard in the owners cabin in the bow. :)

@@XYachtsGreatBritain on the drawings and pictures on the x yachts website it looks much more like a (very comfortable but still) v-birth rather than a rectangular island berths you see in most new yachts. I’m a big x yacht fan but find it interesting that the new 47 cruiser has v-birth while for example the 4.6 has a rectangular island bed. Interesting design choice

I agree that we are lacking online detail at this time, but hope you will soon see after the photo shoot that the owners berth is very large, larger than we have previously designed. Possibly less "island" than before, but on a Bluewater capable yacht we imagine clients sleeping in this cabin while under way, and this will be safer and more comfortable.
