Can you guys please keep doing long uploads like this! TNA/Impact is so nostalgic to a lot of us. We would love to see video about: Aces & Eights, Christian Cage TNA Run, The early ppv days

The World Title match between Nike Aldis vs Alex Shelley should be played in a steel cage at Slammiversary #21.

Next one should be Team Canada.
How Nash and Angle held it together when Booker T was yelling respect is beyond me i was absolutley cackling
😅

Especially with that African accent 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@deroistewart2548Right why did he have a African accent?!?
Booker needs to yell respect from here on out

booker was insane in tna. He would constantly go between his fake British accent and i think at one point blended it with a fake Nigerian accent and his normal voice. He was at peak insanity
Tbh I loved him most for that reason he went to pure insanity
His king Booker gimmick
yoooooo ong fr
Book was trying to use his TNA promos as a promo reel for acting
@crazyhayn just watching it now and thought the same thing
31:23 - Booker T doing his own commentary in the 3rd person, while beating up people in the ring, was absolutely hilarious.
CAN YOU DIG IT, SUCKA ??!!
Booker T doing commentary while he’s beating up guys is the most legendary thing I’ve ever seen
Booker T was the goat man….I watched him from WCW all the way until he stopped wrestling. He shoulda been a multi time WWE Champion! I was so hype when he showed up in the WWF invasion angle
@@philip-op6de 💯💯💯
Imagine if he got beat up, and still commentated. XD
@@datemasamune2904 that would of been hilarious 😂😂😂
It was so horrible
*"RESPECT!"* - Booker T.
King Booker kept saying that Respect in the interview

African Booker was hilarious
OSW
yeaa he's amazing at taking on gimmicks for sure. but Ikno I'm the only 1 to notice Booker T had a blunt of 🍃🤣 instead of the traditional cigar💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sting walking away like a Boss when the Mafia was jumping Bubba in the Parking Lot was Straight up Gangster. 😂
Yeah I definitely feel that they really should have continued this character development
The Golden Era of TNA. That run from 2007 - 2011 was ridiculous. They had so many stars, they were making so many stars.
no they had wwe stars after their primes minus a few bright lights like aj samoa joe abyss and christopher daniels
@@TheOnlyDTMyeah but 2007-2011 waa definitely peek tna

Legendary!! Every single episode was off the chain
Agreed. Had they stayed the course in building up the talent who knows where impact could’ve gone. Bucks, AJ, joe, angle, sting, lethal, daniels….. the list goes on and they had a nice balance of veterans and young talent.
Booker T with the African accent was too funny bruh.😂😂

Even though 2006-2009 was a dark time for Kurt I really think this faction saved his career bc not only could he still go in the ring like a machine but he was able to recreate his character in such a cool way we wanted to see him healthy or not
1:41:47 Angle trying to keep it together as soon as Booker T starts talking 😂😂
Kurt went from stalking to being in a faction with Queen Sharmell only in professional wrestling 😂😂😂😂
I was looking for this one 😂😂😂😂😂
Only in professional wrestling 😂😂😂

Main Event Mafia was incredible. Ended way too soon in my opinion. Kurt did amazing character work as a the Godfather.
They was all kinda past there prime at that point, they couldn't keep up with the younger cats like that
Russo is a genius.
Kurt was so high on percs it’s was unreal. What a great time!
No he's old and broke down, all caught up with him
I bet Angle is in alot of pain now tho
31:27 Booker is a certified gem 😂

Looking back at this run/storyline… I don’t think we gave it enough credit back then. It’s actually a dope storyline
thankfully MarkyD has been covering this era on his channel. So much stuff to remember
Bloodline is basically main event mafia 2.0
@@dbmikeyg255 No way Bloodline is in MEM Level MEM was formed to build new stars. Bloodline is formed for only Roman.

You right what a Shane
The MEM was so awesome. The way it was written, the way it was produced, the great acting. Perc Angle was the GOAT! Some of the best character work from Sting, Angle, and Nash.
One of my fav stables in TNA history. Really enjoyed the storyline with them feuding with the young talents and also an alliance with The World Elite.
As much as I did like I’ll have to say in Tna impact these guys really were cowards just attacking random wrestlers like that.
Main Event Mafia was New Blood v. The Millionaire's Club done right.
@@WaveSlime43 I never really was interested in TNA before until MEM that actually got me invested into watching their product.
Not just TNA but wrestling history. You see who those guys are
Yeah but both groups couldn't co-exist because too many cooks in the kitchen.
Booker T with the commentary while wrestling is probably the most iconic moment of the MEM for me. Classic!!!😂❤

It's a professional wrestling all time moment forshure
Miss the Main Event Mafia they were part of my childhood thank you TNA/impact wrestling for uploading the entire history
Do you watch OSW Review? Thats why Impact uploaded this. OSW is doing a story line arc on Main Event Mafia and Impact is capitalizing on the momentum of the series OSW is doing.

I still can't get over that accent coming out of Booker T. 😂😂 One of the best of all time... I love that man
When booker T was commentating while fighting, LEGENDARY 😭
The Main Event Mafia was arguably one of the most unique ideas for a faction ever. They took all the best ideas from our favorite factions and set themselves apart.
Their segment with Christian is iconic! TNA was something else between 2005-2009. I wish they could've kept it up afterwards.
Booker T was killing me with the “RESPECT” line 😂😂😂😂

Booker laughing mad at Scott steiner 😂😂😂
The Main Event Mafia was my very first exposure to all of these legends. This really took me back
Man TNA in the early 2000’s was on another level!! Don west (RIP) and Mike Tenay made watching TNA feel so legit
They were a heel group and still I loved this group back when I was a kid
Booker T was hilarious throughout the whole thing

One of The Greatest Underrated Wrestling Faction of All Time
It's funny how nostalgia can be. If i remember correctly at the time, the Main Event Mafia was blamed along with Hulk Hogan and Bischoff for pushing older wrestlers instead of the younger guys on the roster, which ended up being one of the reasons for the downfall of TNA.... oh wait, impact wrestling.
@@themastermind5638 Definitely not, we’re were enjoying the Mafia because they were feuding with The Originals over Power and Respect. Admittedly this was Russo’s, so I’ll give him credit on that. After that with Hogan/Bischoff/Flair saga, yeah it was like F**k this lol
It's a shame that Kevin and Booker went back to WWE in 2011 and ruined a proper return for them. I dunno about you but Main Event Mafia vs Fortune during that time would have been one of the best dream matches to have ever come out of Impact Wrestling.
100% agreed upon!
The concept of this is still top tier. Would love to see another company try it again but in their own way.
Classic. Everybody played their roles perfect. Some of the best mic work for everyone. Black Snow was hilarious on commentary. The promo with Kurt on Christian going to WWE was top notch.

MEM was amazing. Thank you for uploading this legendary era in TNA
This was basically a modern day version of New Blood, similar storyline in WCW in which younger guys were put together on war with older guys. Not suprisingly, Sting, Nash, Booker T and Steiner were all involved heavily in both storylines. However the roles were reversed this time. In WCW, older guys were pushed as faces, while younger guys were pushed as heels. Many saw this as the reason that New Blood storyline was not working out, as it turned audience against the younger guys, including Booker T and Steiner who were members of New Blood, and they cheered for older guys. This time they did the right thing by making older guys heels in war against younger guys. And it totally worked out.
I don’t know if people realize just how many stars this stable of the Main Event Mafia elevated. AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, The MCMG, etc. all benefited so greatly from working with and being rivals with these guys
All these guys had won Championships in various Professional Wrestling Promotions before they met The Main Event Mafia. They may have been young, but they were not inexperienced. Still, it is nice to look back at so many Wrestlers that I now see retired or working for WWE, AEW, NJPW, ROH, Impact Wrestling and other Professional Wrestling Promotions.
This is INCOMPLETE. You clearly missed my favourite segments of MEM:
1. Scott Steiner 'PROMO' after joining MEM
2. Sting 'PROMO' after he became the new leader of MEM.
"No one messes with The Main Event Mafia. YEAH!!!"
Booker adlibing Kevin is too funny 😂
definitely not a coincidence that TNA made this video while OSW is in the middle of their main event mafia arc
Brings back memories watching the main Event Mafia in TNA and the amazing talent in the ring especially the Frontline too so much and amazing in TNA back in the past.
I love seeing the entire MEM story got uploaded. It really was one of the coolest things to happen to TNA.
It's amazing that all the members of the main event mafia are in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Either someone wanted to make a compilation similar to the ones WWE made of the ones for the Bloodline or they've been watching the OSW arc on the Main Event Mafia.
