- Hello, everyone. I'm back with another time-lapse video of a watercolor painting I made.
//50 Portraits in a Year Challenge from Master Liu Yi//
I attended (won a scholarship in) Liu Yi's masterclass recently, and he gave me a homework of painting 50 portraits in a year. This is my 9th portrait in that challenge. I incorporated some of his teachings with my own style, and it made my paintings look softer, which I like.

Wow 😮
Thank you!! :D
nice art!
Thank you!
It is incredible to see your growth from your portraits a few years ago!
I’m curious about you lifting your paper every so often. Do you have the board beneath sprayed with water to help keep the painting wet to allow softer blends?? This is genius!!!
Hello! Thank you for your kind comment. I appreciate it! :)
I spray the back of my paper with water to help keep the painting wet. I've learned that from a watercolor class I've attended.
