- Many artists swear by plein air painting; in open air, outdoor. I do that regurarly in summertime. It brings me quick and simple solutions. It asks another approach.
In this video I start with a quick watercolorsketch at Kneuterdijk, 5 min from my studio in The Hague. The next day I will be working on a larger watercolor inside the studio of the Departement van Justitie, in The Hague as well.

I absolutely love your art and am so glad I found you!
Bravo Titus, I admire your diligence and passion. Greetings from Russia
I’m currently reading The Creative Act and remember your commentary on it. Today you commented on what you like and the difference you see in plein air and studio work; and I’m glad you might not give up on your recent plein air piece. I hope we get to see the challenge that might present, even if in your eyes it fails. I’m also glad you explained the blurriness which was purposeful and its contribution to your painting.
Super area and what a sublime way of working indeed. I would have felt comfortable with the culture too😊😊
I haven't even finished the entire video yet. But I'm already loving this!! Perhaps he is in the league of Joseph zbukvich and Michal jasewicz!!

You went a different direction than I was expecting! Enjoyed it as always, thank you.

That last government building painting looks really incredible. It shows that you are truly in the zone in your studio. Great job! Will this painting be offered as a full video in the msmber section? It would be nice to see the whole process.
I love the reaction of people. I would be very interested to know exactly what the lady said, it's a shame it wasn't translated. Please paint outside more if that were possible :)
First to comment. You are the best!
Helin del Castillo, ❤today I couldn't paint , 🎨 I love everything about paint you videos are Art is so genial, you made it that day .this real art , traditional .
I think it's best to take a photo and make your work in your studio. We live in a different century now :)
I was glad when you got back inside far to noisy for me
Taking a risk and adding a comment before watching the video past you setting up. :D I would think painting outside would be more difficult due to the changing light, movement of people, vehicles, etc. and general distractions. Now on to the video!
A really enjoyable video. I would like to know the colours in your watercolour palette Titus.
Hi Andrew, I'm using some blues, ultramarine, lavender and alizarin crimson red. Hansa yellow and sienna
Hi Titus, thanks for the vid. I would totally freak out with the dark (purple?) of the roof slowly flowing down over my building. I guess this is an example of letting the paint do its thing. But still... End result looks cool though!
About the presentation later this month: is the presentation @Morren the same as you were touring with or is it different?
Thanks Mike, the presentation is partly the same, there are some alternate topics and Zach will join us this time
@@TitusMeeuws Cheers. I loved the tour, so not sure yet what to do and mulling this one over.
