I made up a birthday cake basket for a fundraiser. I simply added a box of cake mix, a can of soda, and extras such as candles and frosting to a cake pan and wrapped it all up with wrapping and a bow All the person would have to do is mix, bake, and decorate

I've made the angel food cake and lemon pie filling cake, but after cooling I added another can of lemon pie filling and topped that with cool whip, so good.

What's Cool Whip ?
Thank you so much for these recipes! You asked what we liked so here are some of my favorite ones. Lemon Supreme cake and Sprite/7Up, Orange Supreme cake and orange soda. You can mix tge small box of orange jello and just mix the jellow powder with about 3/4 of the large tub of cool whip to top the orange cake and for the Lemon Supreme cake just use lemon jello. I also like mixing just the Angel Food cake mix with blueberry pie filling or raspberry pie filling, strawberry pie filling or cherry pie filling. It takes my cakes 40 minutes at 350°. My husbands favorite is the blueberry. The first one I made one was on a Friday evening and it was gone by Sunday. We top ours with cool whip. I love these easy desert recipes because I have severe rheumatoid arthritis disease and degenerative disc disease and I'm not on my feet so long that I hurt so much I have to go get off my feet. These recipes are a blessing to me and that lemon bar cake you taught me is going to thrill my husband because lemon cake is his favorite cake. He likes eating lemon bunt cake for breakfast.

When I was a kid in the '70's there was a popular Coca-Cola cake that was a chocolate sheet cake made with about a cup of Coke. So, I think I would like to try a chocolate cake mix with Coke and see how that would turn out. All these recipes look delicious and quick and easy.

These cakes will be light+fluffy using diet soda of any kind..reg.soda has too much sugar+syrup to rise properly..My go to last minute desert also..😅

One I learned from Weight Watchers is a box of lemon cake mix and a can of Diet Sprite. Bake for the time on the package. So good!

I have made the soda cake with gingerale. I baked mine in a bundt pan with a layer of chopped up canned peaches in the middle. I called it a ginger peachy dessert!!

You could give that a layer of crushed ginger cookies, set with melted butter, to give it a crunchy bottom layer.

I made the Peanut Butter and Frosting fudge at Christmas. It was awesome! I added chopped Peanut Butter Cups to the top and pushed them down into the fudge. Definitely a winner!
Does it need to be kept refrigerated after its cut or is it safe to stay out?

I think almond butter or hazelnut spread for the fudge, or maybe chocolate frosting and some whipped cream cheese ribboned through would be amazing

I have never made fudge. This looks simple enough to try. I would probably drizzle chocolate chips or shaved chocolate bar. I love chocolate and peanut butter.❤
You can always do chocolate frosting with peanut butter. I swear it will taste like a Reeses peanut butter cup.

I would use a Chocolate cake mix with regular can coke. I would think it would taste like the Coca-Cola cake. Can put a Chocolate icing on the cake.

I've made the rootbeer float cake. I made a glaze with confectioners sugar and rootbeer. It came out really nice and tasted like rootbeer.

I put a small can of Pineapple juice and topped it off with orange soda for the 12 ounces. Orange Pineapple. I topped it with mixing crushed Pineapple into cool whip. Put a dollop on the cake right before serving

Wondering about chocolate cake, cherry soda and dried cherries? Sounds good, huh? That lemon would be even better with lemon curd and then the powdered sugar! Wow!!!

Got an easy one here....prepare your chocolate cake batter, pour in pan. Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling over the cake mix. Bake as directed. Sprinkle powdered sugar when cool.
With the fudge add hazelnut spread to it, it is so good
