excellent video, it all worked for me.. but is it possible to have the bots respond with more than one message when you ping them, it would be kinda cool for my server.
I assume there is by making the reply a variable but idk

I've tried coding a bot before, and it worked, but it was... not the easiest thing in the world.
Now though, with this scratch interface, one I'm also quite familiar with, it improves the experience a lot!
i feel like scratch is very limited tho. writing code from a software like vsc is just way easier imo.
@@user-xe5eq9br1c I agree scratch for discord is quite limited I used to have my own discord bot using scratch for discord but it was so laggy, I tried to move around and could barely find anything, also when you have a lot of stuff coded in the program its really hard to find stuff

have you done the 'advanced' version of this now that it has 1000+ likes, I'd be interested in seeing how you do the XP and level system, or how you have Reaction roles for instance
I figured out that const keepAlive = require("server.js") is missing a semicolon, which is probably why the console thinks it is not a function.
It's meant to be written as:
const keepAlive = require("server.js");

I did everything to a T, replit was even showing the Your bot is alive message, but my bot won't respond to the ping pong command. My server shows my bot is online and by all accounts it should work, but it just doesn't respond. Wonder where I'm making a mistake.

I Made two Bots With this Methode. The First Works With No Problems but the Second bot goes offline by uptimerobot because "Bad Gateway (502)" . Can you Help me pls?

The scratch for discord programer must of changed something because in the past week or so it has been throwing errors that say syntaxerror: unexpected token '?'

When I try to run it turns off after a few seconds and I cannot see the “your bot is alive” text anywhere.

Rishab jain, thank you so much for the bot code. I can now keep my bot open all day long. I also found out how to make other commands; you have to make another repl with the same way in the beginning, but with a new command and reply.
I also have one question; why does my repl stop randomly so people can’t do the command?

I followed all the steps, but testing the bot with the !ping isn't working, the bot just isn't responding at all. So what the hell am I supposed to do now that I can't even get it to respond???

I did what u said but every time i run it it immediately stops after a second and says it cant find a module and its a different one every time
im stuck at one point trying to get the url from the replit i did everything and idk what wrong-
I can't move the .replit file, it says "This will overwrite another file with the same name." There isn't a file there, though. And if I press overwrite, the file just isn't there and running bot.js results in an error.

Yes, you can program it to send a gif if you have embed link permissions enabled on the highest role your bot has in the discord and if you have the link of that gif, paste that the reply. If you need help scripting it as a command or just to say it whenever someone says something specific, let me know! I have used regular scratch since I was 7 so this has been easy as hell for me.

It says "2022" but all the UI on replit is changed and the video was made a year ago... Why is there no "Remastered" version of this on your channel? Can you make a new one? Im used to scratch so itd really help if you could make a new one
