- I used to play keeping my instrument horizontal on the legs, but I've always seen other musician playing differently and I really wanted to learn to play also with the instrument "standing".
I'm not fully confidential with it, but I understood it can be useful sometimes, depending on what you have to play! :)
...sorry for the little worse sound quality, I'm quarantine and don't have any recording equipment except my trusty little recorder.

Wonderful as always! Thank you for making another beautiful video and sharing your talent.
Thank you so much for your words Anthony, I'm so glad you liked it! ❤🙂
It's mesmorizing to watch your hands. I'm fascinated with this instrument and would love to learn it! Thanks for sharing your music - in my opinion, out of all the videos I've watched of people playing the tagelharpa, you are the best!
Thank you so much for your kind words, I feel humbled but so grateful for them! 🖤 I couldn't be happier that you appreciate my music, for real!
...and, I'm not neutral of course, but if you'll decide to get closer to the tagelharpa, I can assure you won't regret it! :)
Mesmerizing sounds, thank you for setting my spirit free
Thanks to you, I'm happy you liked it! 🖤
You're so talented that you overcame the different recording equipment. Perfect as ever. Made me feel like feeding my cat helm much more gravitas. She certainly seems to think she's royalty.
A big hug to your cat (if she loves hugs of course) :D!
I am happy you liked this video, and I feel flattered by your kind words...! Thank you so, so much! 🖤
@Ebanisteria Musicale C.M. Ferrari she loves hugs. She's a very snuggly cat.
You're very welcome. I'm so glad I found your channel. Luckily I have CZcams premium, so I can add your videos to my CZcams music playlists.
Fascinating! Reminds me off my crwth, originally a welsh folk instrument. Thank you for letting us hear this sound!
Thanks to you, I'm happy you liked it! 🖤 (Love the crwth voice!)
Everything about this is great. Well done
Thank you so much! 🖤
Bellísimo instrumento, saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina
Thank you Fernando! 🌿
Beautiful instrument.
Thank you! ❤🤗
Amazing!
Thank you so much Yovan! 🖤
Bellissimo, davvero stupendo
Grazie mille! 🖤
Sounds just fine to me!
Very good!!
This talharpa have an amazing song wow
Thank you! 🤗 I'm happy you like it, it's one of my favourite :)
One dislike i feel bad for that person not being able to enjoy this
You're too kind! Thank you 🖤
One day you have to go to a snowy forest and record a similar song there with authentic sounds. No editing, no filters, no cleaning, just your music and the sounds of a snowy forest.
It would be amazing! :)
I love it! And I love the decor, and you! The sound is full and beautiful ♥️ I really would like to see you playing Fehu ^__^
Thank you, I'm so happy you liked it!!😄💜 Wow, Fehu is a so beautiful and powerful song, I really love it... I was thinking about making also some videos with known tunes, I hope I'll have the chance soon ☺
Ps. How are you? Still everything ok?
@@ebanisteria.musicale This is great news! Please do it! 😀 All you need is you, a chair and a taglharpa.
I'm still fine! It was my birthday yesterday :) I'm still looking at your instruments by the way, recently I have been wondering the differences between this model and the Resonant fir one 😊
@@ValCharis Really?? 😀 🎉🌿Tantissimi auguri!!! 🌿🎉😀 Even if I am a little late, but I really want to wish you all the best for the new year you've just starting walking through. Hope that it has been a really nice and happy day! :)
If I should describe in few words the difference between the two models, the resonance tagelharpa is the model with the most defined, clear and powerful sound. High frequencies are well highlighted and are not covered by drones. The mahogany tagelharpa has also a characteristic but different sound, slightly lower in volume, with a more open and little harsher sound, and very present harmonics; in its whole, the drones are more present than the resonance model 🙂
Bravo!!👏👏👏🙏
Thank you so much William! 🖤
Excellent!
Thank you so much!! 🖤
Your bow looks like that of the rebec... You work so hard for a good nice sound... I'm happy to hear your music, Sis...
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :)
@@ebanisteria.musicale You're a good comrade: I'm proud You love my words... I wish to meet people like You, to hear beautiful sounds and make this world better... Our music is a revolution for me, Sis... Your work is nice to hear, and I wish You a cool success with it... You're very important, because without You, this world is so bad: we are boring... but with your so nice sounds, the world is full of good energy... As artist, I love what You do... Sis... ^=^ Thank You so much for it and for your love, because to answer to me, as user of CZcams, it proves that You're a nice person... I hope You will go to the Paradise after this life... If the Paradise will be full of people like You, it will give cool good music: it's my point of view about Paradise... ^=^
Прекрасное исполнение)

Maravilhosa.

I would love to learn to play a tagelharpa
You won't regret it! :D
It. Is. All. Good.
I love you :-*
Thank you Aleš, I'm happy you like it! 🙂
sound beautiful to me, no problem with quality, at all.
Thank you so much Paul! 🖤
I like You, You are the best)
Your music is magic)
Do it more)
Thanks)
You're too kind for real! 🖤 Thank you so, so much for your words, I a just so glad that you appreciate my work! 🖤
I've admired your horizontal grip since first seeing you. When I have mine I am going to play like that I believe.. Gonna try both.. And standing with rope strap as you did...You and your sound have most certainly inspired me!!
Do you make them yourself?
Thank you so much! 🖤
Yes, I used to play more often with the instrument horizontal: I still like it and, if I had to suggest, it's the way I would recommend a beginner to start, the instrument is more stable and it is possible to focus better on the movements and sound emission.
Now I have to say I alternate them, horizontal and inclined, depending on what I have to play. I find them both confortable and more efficient for different things.
And yes, we have a small workshop! :)
Thank you again for your kind words!
Have you considered making a tagelharpa with a curved bridge? While I love the sounds of your instruments, it seems to me that the melody is somewhat buried when there are two drones playing at the same time.
Hi Krzysztof, you're right! The sound quality doesn't help, but with this mahogany model
the low frequencies are predominant on the high ones, creating a really full sound that I love, but with melodies not as defined as other models.
I am studying on other models with different characteristics including those you are talking about, I hope to be able to present something new in that sense soon! 🙂
@@ebanisteria.musicale Good news! :D
This sounds beautiful! What tuning is your tagelharpa in here
Thank you! 🖤 Here it's B B F#!
I love earing you play , I am building myself one and was wondering what do you usually use for string
i guess horsehair but what other alternative that sounds good
Thank you Flakatak!
I always use horsehair strings!

damm😍
What do you tune the strings to? Are the outside ones the same and have the middle drone an octave lower?
👍🥰

If I may, I’m obsessed with the tagelharpa cello(though a lover of all tagelharpas). My question is, do you think it’s possible to play a tagelharpa cello standing up?
Just to be sure I understood correctly, do you mean while you are standing up, or while you are sitting but with the instrument hold like the small one in this video?
@@ebanisteria.musicale now that you mention it-both. Though what I meant(which wasn’t too clear, my apologies) is sitting down with the tagelharpa in a upward position.
Absolutely no apologies, my English really need to improve :)
While sitting yes, it is, and it is quite comfortable; I did it in this video, I'd you'd like to watch it: czcams.com/video/JA5cEzFfWy0/video.html
While standing up yes, it is still possible depending on what you want to play, but it is much less comfortable for sure and you have limitations of playability, due to lack of support.
@@ebanisteria.musicale If I may; Your English is exemplary-in the sense that I’ve understood everything you’ve said easily. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this to me; because the moment I listened to you play the Tagelharpa for the first time, I felt a primordial inclination towards it-I just instinctively knew that it was the instrument that I needed to play. I deeply appreciate what you do and how much you give to the world. I’m so fortunate to have discovered your channel and the music you make; Which is music for the soul. You have my heartfelt gratitude and utmost respect.
Thank you so much for your kindness and words, they mean so much to me...! I am truly happy that you like the tagelharpa and that you're thinking about getting closer to it, I am not neutral of course, but it is a wonderful instrument.
And, I couldn't be happier reading that you appreciate what I do; I am the grateful one for sure! 🖤
Thank you so much again!
i know i may have asked this before but what is the tuning you use for the tagleharpa in red sun?
Hi Isaac, it's D-D-A! :)
You making instruments from solid cut of wood? Without plywood on soundboard?
Hi Remy! It depends on the model, this one in mahogany is made of solid wood in every part, including the soundboard; other models are too, while also other models has a birch plywood soundboard.
Hi ,good sound, good job and you're very beautiful
Thank you Okorud, you're too kind! Thank you 🙂
Where are you from... ?
I'm from Italy! :)
@@ebanisteria.musicale Oh nice to meet You: I've got ancestors from your lovely country... (Toscana and Sardinia) Italian is one of the languages I'd love to speak... ^=^ You're cool... Certainly can do worse than a zoom recorder, still sounds fantastic with a bit more room!
could help your post pord. a little if u want ^^ could remove all that noice in a few minutes .. besides that .. nice playing love the sound of the instrument =)
Thank you Byob! I know in this video the quality is quite bad, I used a little recorder because we couldn't leave our homes for any reason at that days... It's a little sad we're going now through another lockdown -.- Hope you are fine and everything is going well!
Dont worry for that "worse audio quality". A tagelharpa cant sound bad.
Thank you! 🙂🖤
This is worthy of a Lo Fi Remix.
I think they should start testing violins for steroids 😏
