B3313 Unabandoned 33 Stars-1 Red Star Speedrun in

A video unrelated to Undertale? Yeah, I’m still planning to no hit Genocide Asgore Remake’s Lunatic Mode (Normal), but wanted to try this as no one else has actually done this speedrun. Which means this is technically a world record. VICTORY BY DEFAULT! Didn’t really have a map laid out for this, I just went for whatever stars I thought I could easily get. This run can obviously be optimized way more.

Notes: If you’re wondering why the long jump was never used, red stars unlock more Mario’s moveset, and the long jump isn’t unlocked til 2 red stars.

Nice run, is there a way you guaranteed entrance to eternal fort beta? Also, do you have information on the run that beat this one? I can't find any other runs of this mod.

There’s isn’t a guaranteed entrance to eternal fort beta. It’s entirely based on RNG. Additionally, the run that beat mine is somewhere on CZcams, I’ve seen it, but I didn’t save the link. You’re gonna have to do some searching I’m afraid.

Does this really count as a complete run? Defeating Final Bowser isn't the game's win condition, you know. The closest thing it has to that would be reaching the Ending Bar at Star Road, to which defeating Final Bowser is a stepping stone.

I asked the devs before doing the run, they considered beating Final Bowser as the run’s end point.

@@Mordecai02 The Unabandoned team (which does consist of some members of the original dev team for B3313), I was able to ask them about it thanks to their discord server on all things B3313 content. Although, I wouldn’t worry much about the run, it’s outdated anyhow, not only the time itself being beaten, but it’s on an older version of the rom hack, and I’m not planning to try to “speedrun” the game again.
