I was a constituent of yours until very recently; circumstances beyond our control forced my SO and I to leave. I want you to know that I voted for you every single time, 2018, 2020, and 2022. My SO also greatly admired you and the hard work you were doing; as soon as he changed his residency to San Diego he began voting for you right away. Mike Levin, I urge a bill that has a reasonable guidelines for CLOSING THE BORDER, the DEM bill sent tens of billions to Ukraine and Israel. Here are my priorities: 1.close the border by enforcing the laws we have on the books 2. Control crime, I live in a nice section of Carlsbad, over the past several months home break-ins on the rise Your cherished immigrants are prowling our shopping center parking lots, testing car doors looking something to steal, often the car itself. Worry less about foreign borders and more about our own. Protect US citizens. Southern California turning into a 3rd world territory, there is a trail of litter from the border leading directly to the Oceanside train station where some of the invaders are leaving the county. 3. Get inflation under control, which is killing the middle class, retirees and young people just starting in this adult world. 4. The nuclear fuel that you promised in your campaigns to get moved from San Onofre is still there and still a concern. Especially with the ferocity of the recent storms. Quit bashing and blaming the GOP for Democratic shortfalls in half-ass bills giving more money to foreign countries with no accountability, if you were doing this in your home, with your own budget, it would be considered irresponsible and reckless, you are spending our money (which don’t have and must borrow). Honestly Mike - I call this poor job performance on the Dems. Stop borrowing to finance Ukraine’s war and Israel’s war and pay attention to the protection of US citizens .
