I used to be generous with my family, till the day some of them stolen some money from me. Never again i will help them proundly apart of my mum. I have few people like friends and family ,they are jealous of me, i promesed myself i will not help them wisely and proudly ,will give them few quid and theres no way i will tell them, i won a huge amount of money . It's nuts how the winner has to pay half in tax.....Here in Australia you pay 30cents of Tax when you buy the ticket.....And so all Taxes are paid......get with it USA!!!!
+dojufitz It varies by state. Some states have zero tax while others have up to a 11% tax. This is on the state level. But the federal government has its own tax. It varies by how much you won but usually it's about 39%. But if you get a good financial advisor and instead ask for the 30 year payments the federal portion could potentially go a lot lower, possibly to the 30's or lower.

1.save some, invest some(education), get in contact with a few ppl i know and see if they need money for some type of schooling, then pay that in full
2. create and establish a business
3. buy a car,
4. give some to some charity
