The stick is just a contraption she hold in her palm. When she presses a button, the stick expands and pulls the cloth in. I've seen a magician do that before.

I believe she does the magic trick by having holding something in her hand that expands extremely fast when she releases it. Around 9 sec you can see her holding something black in her hand, and if you pause the video when the trick occurs, you can see that it extends from her hand.
