everything was custom built, everything from the materials to labour + time all the equipment and the fact he paid extra for it to be a priority build for the team he had it done then yes, also its 50k $ not £ if so it would be around 30k - quality material is expensive, not the cheap stuff you get from diy places

50k💀😭😂 I do all types of house renovations and believe you me that setup room cost 15k max that’s including paying people wages for doing it and all the materials needed, and even that’s still a push

You are only talking about the room though which is valid and i fully agree with you however the tech alone is prob 10k easily if not more. Ive spent almost 7k on my setup just before covid and not got any fancy lights or mics/GoXLRs etc etc which were expensive to begin with and since covid shit is crazy overpriced now imo. I actually reckon 35-40ish including everything tbh
There were multiple guys working for a week with ceiling structure, eletrical work, walls, the cabinet but that shouldnt add upp much more than your mentioned 15k tbh. 50k is pure robbery. Even if he got him 8k pc that I dont believe it being that expensive it wouldnt make any sense still…
Then another 10k on pc, monitors and desk. nd more on all the signed memorabilia, custom paintings and cards. He’s talking about everything not just the reno’s.
