- A quick gameplay guide on where to find the Cyclops Depth Module Mk1 within Subnautica game (2021). We will be looking past the kelp forest and going deeper into the edge of the grand reef. In this area we will come across a data box to enable us to construct the depth module MK1, which will allow us to then further upgrade MK2 and MK3.

When I opened the data box, it gave me titanium, which means I've found it earlier- but now I dont know how to craft it 😅😭

I dont know if you already knew, but it requires a cyclops to craft. Its in the starboard(Right) side of the cyclops
The crafting station for it is inside the cyclops

Thank you , ive seen an others guy video which it was at lifepod 13 and it told me that it was multiple leviathan's in the region and then i was NOPE

you need to craft it, the box just gives you the blueprint

I thought I didn’t have it and went back to look for it, turns out the MK1 is not even next to the other MKs on the tablet. I just didn’t scroll down where it was but I ended up getting other stuff that I had missed so tysm

not sure why but the depth module just wasnt there in my game. (hopefully its got nothing to do with me playing on switch)
I already got the blueprint for mk1 but idk how to craft/equip it to my cyclops
If you also go through the sealed doors then into the bigger corridor there is a repair docking bay for the cyclops data box

dog ik you said this two years ago but i am 100% sure i picked up the mk1 blue prints for the cyclops but either im not building it in the right place or my game glitched and did not give me the blueprint even after i picked it up

yes.. grand reef same spot as ruby .. or goto the NW musroom forest where that massive tree is.. there is always 5 gel sacks on the roots

fulll of ruby's and gel sacks with no hostile fauna
also allot of shale outcrops and entrance to the blood kelp zone
Went to the location but the module wasn’t there for me. This game is starting to annoy me. I’ve checked out other vids and none of the locations have it.

how the fuq do you get mk1 if a sea monster destroyed your first one?
Reload the save because saving after is crazy. Or craft a new one.
Oh thank god, I thought the blood kelp zone with the ghost leviathan & the crab squid was the only way
You missed a THIRD data box in this wreck(idk someone decided to put 3) if you don’t go in the vent and instead just cut the doors with a laser cutter(both of them) you will eventually gain access to a room with a cyclops repair module data box.
Edit: sry u only need to cut one then go up then u find the data box

There is no Mk1 in that Databox or atleast not anymore? Wiki couldnt help me aswell.

i have the drill arm already but in my previous world i was struglling to find it here and now i see 7 DRILL ARMS.
I always build my base at zero point (i call it world origin because it sounds cooler) that way if i need to find something i know exactly where to go
I opened that data box. it did not have that in it. I opened the one inside too. that also didn't have that in it. I went to life pod 2 and looked for the data box that is supposed to be there. It's not there. I can't find this module anywhere and i'm about ready to quit lol :/
edit: ok i logged off and validated files. I have the blueprint now so it must have been in that data box. how does one even make it though? because the place where I make the Mk2 and MK3 doesn't have MK1?
I just figured out you have to fabricate it on the Cyclops itself. Go to the Cyclops and face the decoy loading tube. Go through left door. The fabricator is on your left. I hope you read this and that it helps. We were both in the same predicament. I was about to start over lol.

I did not have it there i have mk2 and MK 3 but i dont have MK 1
1) IOn my map , there is no giant coral sticking out of the water. 2) I 've scoured that location and no depth module

Any one else had to fight two ghost leviathans with cyclops at 16 trying your hardest to get out of the river caves

If you can't find, search inside the destroyed ship. I've found my mk1 inside of it! Not outside.
So i managed to hatch sea emperor babys , kill a reaper but still not have and a depth 1 cyclops module!?@??. And if your wondering how i made it to the lava zone without a cyclops i went with a prawn suit.

Keep looking in the general area. They spawn all over that spot.
