This is my dream car. I know others say something like a Lamborghini or an Audi R8, but this is my favourite.

I love this car...another great review. My Step-Father purchased a 2015 M4 with the orange/reddish leather...LOVE it!! Thanks again so much!! I wish I could test drive cars with you guys!! :) And you are correct about replacing the tires...but with a car like this...who cares...right? ;)

@@jamesrocco5272 yes the coupes hold their value way better then the convertibles as seen in most cars, and in todays market it's impossible to find a M coupe under 30k

All Cars are getting better but they are missing that sound off the roar that you used to get from the big engines V6s V8s are a dying dying breed so if you own one then you had better keep it as you won't get no more and one day thay will be a classic worth a lot of money 👌🏿

I lost enthusiasm for BMW a long time ago...but seriously, engine noise sent to the speakers? What is that for, to "compensate for lack of size-make me feel better" kind of effect?
Would love to see this engine/'s ancillaries, diff and suspension ect, fitted to a M135i. Or how about a BMW M4 Gran Coupe?
Think I was the first on the Internet to post my hatred for the cold start noise of the F82 M4. Most microphones dont pick up the bass frequencies too well. I bought one and think it's absolutely fantastic. I had the e90 V8 and it makes that feel like a city car. very happy and proud owner.

When E92 M3 had both two doors and four doors, most people wanted the coupe M3. When coupe M3 has been changed the name to M4, then people say they want four doors M3 because it is more practical. Capricious!

The first thing I noticed when driving an M4 was that my 328i felt more comfortable.

Easy. I did it in my M5. Just find the fuse that operates the synthetic engine noise and remove it. Now it's not as loud but you only hear real noises.

Dual exhaust. Quad would be 4 full exhaust pipes. Tips don't count for number on exhaust. Only from the manifold to the catalyst.
Do any modes control how loud the exhuast is?

I love this M4, I think the top speed should be limited to 165Mph because average cars have a 155mph top speed, So it seems "Normal" to an extent!
I just went to a little trip to the south of Germany, pulling into a tank station an there is two car carrier trucks full of Yellow M4´s + a few red M6´s - Dear Lord I just need one.
It's weird you can't turn the Active Sound off, on all the other Beemers you can from the iDrive menu... are you sure you can't?

+Hashim Mir Big NO WAY and I have owned them both. M4 now since November. The M3 was just jaw dropping. The M4 looks much more like the 435 and 428. Need to look to see it. The M3 people saw from far away, they new it was an M because the hood had the bump AND the sweet vents. This car suck compared to the M3 V8. I wish I never traded it in.
