That’s the price of free healthcare. In the states cigarettes are $5/pack in Canada the cheapest ones are $25. Liquor is also dirt cheap u can get a 2liter of vodka for $5 here
@@USA2283 Its not. I live in germany (with "free" healthcare) and can get a 0,5l bottle of vodka for 5€, beer 40cents for 0.5l and a pack of 20 cigarettes 5€. But packed tabacco and rolling them urself is far cheaper.
I dont know why the prizes in canada are so high, but its surely not the healthcare system. Some countries have high prices to fight alcohol addiction.

He’s so right at the end about you and your buds chipping in 5-10 bucks and getting all of that booze. It’s a real problem though I’ve even been guilty of spending that 20 on a half gallon than food which would cost double that of booze.

I like this. I typically don’t like berrys in my jungle juice cuz they always clog the spigot. I use the same jar as this guy. But jungle juice is a fun time! Just don’t do anything you’ll regret!
When he showed the receipt I was even more impressed. I worked at a raplh/Raleys, they are NOT! cheap.
Probably got it on sale or used those coupons along with employee discount cards to chip away the costs. It’s not hard to get, customers and employees taught me ways to cheat the system.

"jungle juice" is just strong liquor and fruit. Experiment to find what works for you. I think the taste and simplicity makes it timeless. You just seen broski use 5$ alcohol and Sunkist and sunny d 😂. I'm sure it was fire. I really like mixed berry jungle juice. I'm not sure what purple dragon is but if it's jungle juice I'm sure it's fire too.
What ever you do, put a fifth of 150 everclear in it.

Over here, you'd just about get the bottle of triple sec for $25. You could also get 30kg (66 lbs) of oranges for that price though, and that's for A level oranges meant for direct consumption (oranges meant for juice are even cheaper).

@@Olympian085 As a Canadian that works in a trade that takes me back and forth over the border, I disagree. Skilled jobs above minimum wage pay pretty much the same after you account for the value difference of the two currencies. In canada, we pay way more taxes though and our cost for food, gas, and utilities is also more (rent is about the same). I saved more money living in America while working compared to Canada even after I took a hit exchanging it to CAD$ when I came home.
p.s. It costs me $74.50 (~$59USD) to buy the ingredients in my province.

I live in Toronto. The cheapest vodka here costs $29.85. O.K., that's in Canadian money, but booze here is over-taxed and there's no way to make cheap jungle juice here.

But the quality shows... The cheap vodka he's using will give you the gnarliest hangovers. Admittedly though, this kind of sucks cause in the US you have vodka choices at the low, mid, and top tier. Smirnoff is usually about $20-25 depending on where in the US

@@stephonjhn I got a 1.5 L bottle of Smirnoff for less than 20 at at Target in Downtown LA. Maybe it was a loss leader, but some stores place a stupid markup on the unremarkable Smirnoff.
While California has a pretty high cost of living for the US, it also doesn’t have the weird liquor laws that other US states have. There is definitely a liquor tax here, where even a $2 tall can of piss beer has a 40 cent tax on top, but at least we can buy liquor at corner stores and department stores.

I used to like sunny D but it is tremendously acidic and sugary. I get a stomach ache after one small bottle is finished. If I ever get thirsty, I would prefer water or orange juice.

Because of alcohol taxing, in Finland this would cost at least 50 euros.

Can we get an aknowledgement for how cheap you guys get booze in the states? In canada the cheap 750 ml are 22 dollars. $85 for a 750ml of hennessy to compare a popular brand, 25 for stuff like smirnoff, and about 30+ for anything half decent

You can use the fridge drawers; the clear containers, in a pinch. Easy and quick enough to measure anything out with a scaled jug and water.
That one appears to be a 2, maybe 3 gallon jug. Should be plenty.
We used 48 quart ice chest and or those big water coolers you see on sidelines at football games.
