Music industry has something against Michael. Apple Music has only Hanoi's 80s albums but not the three they made 2002-2007. Spotify has one of them but it doesn't include this song.

Their initial breakup was because their drummer died. The breakup of their new lineup was because they "had taken the band and music style as far as possible", according to McCoy and Monroe

It's pentatonic scale - sounds Japanese for sure but known basically everywhere and the basis of most rock songs
