I wouldn't judge too much on this game, Canada shot very poorly and the coach played the bench the last ten minutes not pushing hard for the win. The U.S. played well and they are the team to beat for sure. There are more important games ahead.

The best players in your league right now are all European. You lack fundamentals compared to nearly every other country, and your game relies on endless pick and roll hero ball. The prospect of a european coach coming to coach any of your nba teams has your prima donnas crying and shaking in fear cause the precious princesses can't be yelled at. Your only, ONLY saving grace is that you have a talent pool of up to 300 million to choose from while other countries are limited to at most about 40 million. And YET with all this you still routinely get humiliated on the world stage and then proceed to cope with seemingly endless excuses, every year the world has to put up with new ones as well
