Somehow this level of competitiveness needs to be replicated into the ASG. There needs to be something to play for or for honour like playing for your nation, i dont have a clear idea but it needs some of this competitive juice
You cannot expect a mid season exhibition game with 2 days of preparation for an assembled team of people that do not play together to be a competitive game like the olympics. People keep wanting these showcase exhibitions to have meaning instead of just accepting them for what they are. No one cares or remembers who won the 2004 ASG and that's OK, it doesn't matter.
