Go Grace! 🎉 Great run. 👍
Great video and well done Grace! 1.40 for normal people is brilliant
Grace is rapid! Guess it runs in the family.
She sure is! Muy rapido... takes after her bro ;)
well done Grace. she absolutely crushed it!
As a type 1 diabetic.. I feel the frustration with the highs and the lows. Even when you think you have it all worked out… it’s like it always wants to have the last laugh. Constant battle, solid time and effort that
Thanks for the insight :) grace does so well to manage it for sure!
Your family dynamic is brilliant! Love to see it.
Thank you! I agree 🤗
Love watching your videos, Cole. You have a wonderful, loving family. And congrats, Grace, on your race and fortitude! On on another note, people should be given the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Not fair to assume Kelvin Kiptum is not clean because he ran so fast.
that pun with the doctor made my day 🤣
haha innocent until proven guilty so for legal reasons im joking!
Let's go Grace!!
Yes, T1D warrior!
Way to go Grace!
Great video Cole. As a type 1 diabetic, you’re spot on. Even when you can control the controllables, there’s so many variables it’s a nightmare and you’re spot on with the lack of research. I started the London marathon with a blood sugar of 19 yet got a PB!
Already commented on your Instagram and hadn’t seen you’d vlogged, probably one of my fave ones you’ve made and felt bit emotional when Grace started struggling with her blood sugar.
Hats off to her,she still ran well and will crush it next time being that mentally strong 💪
Ah thanks for that. Appreciate the honesty 🤗
Well done Grace, that toughness and mental strength will stand to u on other days and u will smash ur PB, tough days make d good days all d sweeter
Thanks myles!
1:40 with stops is some serious running - well done
Damn straight sir!!
It's almost impossible to describe how bad it can feel running with blood sugars too high or low. Personally it rockets my heart rate and can really dehydrate me quickly. Saying that it's always great seeing other type 1s getting on it. If she hasn't seen it before lakes in a day (50 mile mountain ultra) was on this weekend and for the last 8 years has offered free entry to type 1 diabetics up for a challenge! Missed it this year but an amazing race.
Your sister is speedy!! 🚀btw your family are so sweet! Like seeing them in the vlogs
They are! Thanks buddy
Yes Cole, your sister absolutly smashed it. it was a very hot day.
Sure was!!
Ended up stumbling accross this video looking for footage of the race. Was chatting to your dad at the end about the monsoon after the great north run as was wearing my t shirt. Your family have quick genes there 😂👪
Was not expecting her to be that fast! Wow, impressive 👍
Great content as always and C'mon Grace! Your race will come! Lets go Grace Army!
CMON GRACEEEEEE 🤣
Fantastic effort! To be on course for a PB at half way is a great sign for the next race.
C'mon Graceee! 🎉🎊🏅🏃♀
Thanks Steven! I’ll make sure she reads these comments 😃
You made me laugh at the end !!
Grace you’re a superstar in my book. X
Hahaha. She sure is
A really fun watch, well done to Grace! That comment about the doctor 😂
Haha for legal reasons I’m joking haha ;)
Congratulations to Grace! Great time!
Thank you sir!
Brilliant running Grace, that's a super quick time even if not quite a PB
I’ll make sure she knows that! 😃
Well done Grace 👏 fantastic running 💪
Thanks Keiron!
Well done Grace 🎉 that’s still a brilliant time
It sure is! She underestimates her ability!
Damn, wasn't expecting your family to all have such great times coming in to this
Sports family life 💁🏻♂️
What a brilliant time 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Damn straight!
Well done to your amazing sister. Her PB must be scorching! Must be so hard. I care for an autistic women with diabetes and she has done so well to do so much more walking since she was diagnosed and to deal with all the hardships it brings.
I am running Peterborough half on Sunday and it is first one in 7 years due to injury, work and a beautiful son coming into my life! Hoping for 1 hour 20ish but who knows where I will be on the day.
Your whole family are so brilliant on these videos. Kudos to you for being so kind in general.
Ah thank you so much. Best of luck for your half on Sunday!
@@ColeRunning thanks,really appreciated
Amazing Grace, as it were. Great family Vlog again.
Cole's Kontroversial Kiptum Komments. Right with you. Look at one of his training partners. Same coach. Won the Eindhoven Marathon.
Thank you! Yep hahah.
Well done Grace! I know exactly what it feels like racing with T1D, the adrenaline pushes the blood sugar level very high…can be really scary! I love training but racing is always an additional stress. Congratulations on finishing the race and getting it done 👍
Ah thank you! I can only imagine how difficult it is. Well done for getting it done!
Well done,grace
Thank you!
Grace, I am targetting 2 hrs in my upcoming HM… I know what 1.40 feels like… you are quick!! 👏👏👏👍
She’s rapid ! As are you Alec!
Grace is beutiafull 😊
The fact that your family can't help smiling at each other. So lovely. Also all so relatively fast. Damn. Grace is so cool. Both of you looking so effortless at 4:30/km pace. The addition of managing diabetes along with all the other body functions is a whole other level. The Kiptum slander at the end!!!! hahahaha.
Yep I can’t imagine what she has to deal with!! She proper crushed it
Wow! She is amazing…as if running wasn’t hard enough! That is a fantastic time and one I would love to achieve. Well done Grace. As for Kelvin….mmmmm! I tend to agree haha
Thanks Ed! She crushed it!! Imagine what she’d do with kelvins doctor! 😉
Dang your sister is fast! I'm a 28 yo dude in ok shape with no health issues and my HM pb is 1:38
She’s RAPID 😆
Unlucky Grace!! I’m sure she’ll crack it next time 💪
She will for sure!
Grace is a legend and an example to us all in humility and determination. Fair preemptive comment on Kiptum with probably great credit going to his pharmacist. The shoes he was wearing shows
road footwear now is a joke and fast times have no credibility in my eyes.
How did your parents get on? Your dad is quite a runner I can remember
He ran 1:33 I believe 😁
Any chance of coming to Ireland and pacing me lol
Hahahah when I can afford to 🤣
Perhaps your sis can be more directly behind you the next time to get more benefits from being paced
Yeah the comment about the doctor is probably what a lot of folk are thinking, but not saying
Hahah yep 🤣 I’m a natural sceptic
