As a type 1 diabetic.. I feel the frustration with the highs and the lows. Even when you think you have it all worked out… it’s like it always wants to have the last laugh. Constant battle, solid time and effort that

Love watching your videos, Cole. You have a wonderful, loving family. And congrats, Grace, on your race and fortitude! On on another note, people should be given the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Not fair to assume Kelvin Kiptum is not clean because he ran so fast.

Great video Cole. As a type 1 diabetic, you’re spot on. Even when you can control the controllables, there’s so many variables it’s a nightmare and you’re spot on with the lack of research. I started the London marathon with a blood sugar of 19 yet got a PB!

Already commented on your Instagram and hadn’t seen you’d vlogged, probably one of my fave ones you’ve made and felt bit emotional when Grace started struggling with her blood sugar.
Hats off to her,she still ran well and will crush it next time being that mentally strong 💪

It's almost impossible to describe how bad it can feel running with blood sugars too high or low. Personally it rockets my heart rate and can really dehydrate me quickly. Saying that it's always great seeing other type 1s getting on it. If she hasn't seen it before lakes in a day (50 mile mountain ultra) was on this weekend and for the last 8 years has offered free entry to type 1 diabetics up for a challenge! Missed it this year but an amazing race.

Well done to your amazing sister. Her PB must be scorching! Must be so hard. I care for an autistic women with diabetes and she has done so well to do so much more walking since she was diagnosed and to deal with all the hardships it brings.
I am running Peterborough half on Sunday and it is first one in 7 years due to injury, work and a beautiful son coming into my life! Hoping for 1 hour 20ish but who knows where I will be on the day.
Your whole family are so brilliant on these videos. Kudos to you for being so kind in general.

Well done Grace! I know exactly what it feels like racing with T1D, the adrenaline pushes the blood sugar level very high…can be really scary! I love training but racing is always an additional stress. Congratulations on finishing the race and getting it done 👍

The fact that your family can't help smiling at each other. So lovely. Also all so relatively fast. Damn. Grace is so cool. Both of you looking so effortless at 4:30/km pace. The addition of managing diabetes along with all the other body functions is a whole other level. The Kiptum slander at the end!!!! hahahaha.

Grace is a legend and an example to us all in humility and determination. Fair preemptive comment on Kiptum with probably great credit going to his pharmacist. The shoes he was wearing shows
road footwear now is a joke and fast times have no credibility in my eyes.
