Ive beaten this game on whoa mode and have over 200 hours and never realized that there is a rock to blow up to get into the upper yard. Back before 1.0 I always just made a stair case up and continue to do so lmao
Its not very clear where it is to be honest, my first time playing i just built up too!
It's really not that good anyway because after a while that rock respawn, so you're always better off building a way up.

When I started playing the cracked rock wasn’t even a thing lol
I found that on my first play through. I’m an observant gamer I check every nook and cranny
Little tip for the oak tree base: STABILIZE YOUR BASE WITH SUPPORTS!
One good bug attack could mean losing your entire base, so either make ash walls for supports or mushroom brick walls.
Speaking from experience, IF that does happen to you... Stay calm, log out and quit and load a slightly older save. You might lose a tiny bit of progress but not your entire base👌Saved my 2000+ piece oak fortress this way, mosquitoes and wasps can be a real pain for the floating platform style bases.

@@DJBendytheFox I had a mosquito raid the other day and couldn't find them anywhere then all at once realized a swarm of like 6-7 of them where just destroying my acort turret towers one by one 😭 had such an annoying amount to rebuild...
Does it even make sense to build a defend at the base and defend walls etc im first time playin with friends on like day 20 or sum but we had had two attacks from ants and that was like 4 ants or sum so it was really eas

Shields decrease damage by 20%. If you’re gonna use a shield use the fire ant shield.
I just started playing,im so bad at parrying ,it took me 3 hours to get the hedge super chip because of thr orb weaver juniors and robots☠️😭

I built stem frame staircases to circumvent any obstacle I came across, before I discovered the ease of clay.
Many times I found the entrance point, like the boulder, _much_ later on.
Many more times I got burned, like at the shed porch in the upper yard (near the Javamatic) where I built a quick staircase within 60 CM of a natural existing transition

Early game tip for abundant food & weevil shield resources consisting of 4 weevil meat..
Just drop a normal edible mushroom top on the ground then give it a minute or two.. :)
This can also attract ants.
Ants TWOC things especially attracted to cooking spits & they'll break containers containing food..
Weevils will also break containers in order to TWOC stored mushrooms if containers are within reach..!
Avoidable if storage containers are stored on a shelf, elevated at least 1 wall high.
Being in a cozy camp regenerates your health not just sitting in the hot tub

If you're gonna bring the grass to throw into the rock for the upper yard then you may as well just build stairs and keep it there

You can parkour blades of grass up to top of Frankenline to top yard.
late game tip, Mant launch everywhere way faster and way more fun then zip lines you need the fluffy dandelion tuft tho
there were like 3-4 milk molars i didn’t have to build to because i just waited until we had mant statue makes it way easier
You have a video of best way to build or where to build on oak tree? What weapons should be first to upgrade? Insect axe and ant club?
but they fixed the animation cancel because it was basically exploit so what they did is the first 2 hits deal less damage and the third hit deals the bigger chunk now but if your canceling it all the time your cutting the big chunk of your damage output off

When harvesting pupa hides that you have to shoot down, block-cancel to rapid fire with a crossbow to shoot them down insanely quick
You get a damage penalty for doing it in combat _(so don't!),_ but you only have to do 1 damage to drop a hide, so you don't have to wait for your character to reload their cross bow.

8:28 You can't stack all meal effects but if you eat a tier 3 meal then a tier 2 meal afterwards it will only overwrite one of the effects, so you can kinda combine them. blahable has a good post on reddit about it.

Yeah all i know is the max health from the black ox burgers never gets overwritten even if its eaten first or second

I think they changed it. I used to mix the meals all the time but now it seems kinda random. It used to have one of the tier III effects replaced by the tier II. But now sometimes it gets fully replaced or the top effect is replaced. Before 1.3 the tier III bottom effect was always replaced.

Why do the upgrade resourcess not respawn so annoying im on the first game with my friends and we already upgraded tier 1 stuff etc
Eventually you can unlock recipes to craft upgrade materials using sap + creature parts
Koi Armor is way better for blocking with parry master

How did. you Remove the blur?:o
In the games setting you can turn off the distance blur from high, medium and low. Low is the setting i use to reduce the blur

Do the cancel delay with crossbow you can get a power machine gun
You can but you get the 'rough reload' debuff which reduces bow damage by a TON!
Aboutu do 15% less damage with shield
