I ship Arata and Shinobu but only as close friend. I love their low profile friendship, they don't say much but they seem to understand each other! I don't really seem them a couple, only because I don't think they've thought that far about their relationship lol.
After reading chapter 173, I felt a bit sad, I really dislike how Arata decided to ditch the 'I'M ABOVE EVERYONE BECAUSE I SELF STUDY KARUTA' image to ' I WANT TO PLAY KARUTA WITH MY COMRADES AND FRIENDS' image. lol I felt as if, he said goodbye to Shinobu.
Of course i understand the whole reason lol
Personally, I don't think Chihaya will like Taichi or Arata. She was sees them as a good friends and tend to reminisce that past when all 3 of them were in a term. Of course I want her with Taichi but I am not surprise if the author makes her not liking neither of them.
As you may or not may know, I am obsess with Chihayaufuru, from manga to anime and now to live action. i wish chihayafuru was a drama instead of a film but either way, it's good. I am really obsess with the live action, like the cast was so prefect for this film . Like each other character literally resembles the manga character. Thumbs up to Mayu, idk i just think she looks 100% identical to Shinobu hahaha.

I am not going to lie, when i saw Mackenyu cast for Arata, I was skeptical because I instantly thought 'oh a typical flower boy' but i was soo wrong and i am sorry for being wrong. After watching ''To give a dream' and 'I'll fall in love with you again tomorrow' I noticed his acting was no joke. When he acts, I can genuinely feel the effort that he puts into portraying the character as well as I read how he visited Arata's hometown and actually learned how to play Karuta! A+++ for studying! Which reminds when Sato Takeru read Rurouni Kenshin to understand Kensin's character. Those type of actors, cannot be forgotten and should be in the spotlight - I don't live in Japan, so I don't know if they are praise for their acting.
After doing some stalking (aka watching youtube videos lol), he has multiple talents; he's that child that every parents brag to their friends lol

@@swastikhindu9478 i just read what i wrote and it's quite misleading lmao i meant after reading chapter 173, after the competition between arata and shinobu, it felt as if the (pro-single karuta player) arata was saying goodbye to shinobu. implying that you cannot become strong alone. i basically summarised how i felt after their arc.
@@maymay1889 no u r over thinking it bcoz Shinobu started practicing in Coach Ise's society so it's not a goodbye but I'm sure that chihaya and arata r going to end up together and Shinobu would become their frnd.
