Can we please appreciate how brave this gentlemanman is, he is often shy but always straightforward with his feelings and he truly knows when to step up. Plus he is a very kind and strong willed gentleman. His only problem is his physical distance from chihaya (yet they still feel so close, that's just how strong the connection is between them). I like Taichi too but I still prefer Arata Wataya-kun. He is already a man,and I think Taichi is not yet matured enough, he still needs to grow.I believe Arata deserves appreciation too you know.
Can we talk about how similar Chihaya & Arata's thought processes are? She was about to stop Suo too! THIS is why they're endgame material. They share the same goal & passion in life.
@@TheAskald she initially felt that way because suo said she could never make it as queen. Later during Suo's match with Harada she felt regret for revealing Suo's weakness to Harada out of that disdain. Her feeling towards Suo changed during the Meijin match. Suo insulted Arata like he did to Chihaya too. The reason I say they are like minded is because despite their despise towards Suo they couldn't deny he IS a worthy opponent & him retiring would be a shame. And if she wasn't going to stop Suo where WAS she going in the middle of an important interview? And why did Arata motion for her to stand by/back down? Do YOU watch the anime?
Throught this episode I didn't know who to route for, dr. Harada or master suo, both are selfish in their own way, dr. Harada tries to use weaknesses of his opponents in cruelest ways, while Suo disrespects the opponents with sense of egoism to fill his shallow heart. Both are mean people, yet I cannot hate but like these two characters aa lot.
I'm not done with the series but honestly it doesn't seem like suo should lose to anyone but taichi its just plot armor if it's anyone else (at this point ik arata is like the 2nd strongest but throughout the series has been hinting at taichi closinf that gap incredibly fast.
Wataya-kun, a shy boy but so brave. Love him❤

Same... I live how he's honest with his emotions. And he didn't even stall it for her to know and no misunderstandings.
That's what I have been saying you described him perfectly

No she wasn't going to. She hates everything about Suo, she wishes he could just vanish instantly from the Karuta scene. Did you watch the anime?

@@zebahoq7077 Just rewatch episode 20 dude. Don't embarass yourself more than you already did.
@@TheAskald I have better things to do than argue with strangers over a fictional ship on a yt comment section. Good day.
@@zebahoq7077 Yeah, same. That's why I invited you to rewatch the episode, arguing is pointless when you don't know the subject. Good day.
The guy who voices Arata is the same guy that voices Reiner, one of the best characters in Attack on Titan.
great VA
And kunikida kuunnn~. Mashima taichi in BSD is Osamu dazai. Good hahah
GREAT VA
