Thanks for the good video. I'm going to a motor swap now due to a rusted out deck. I am confident it will be successful.

Next time, surprisingly some advice from me, when resistance in old rusted wrenched parts just spray some DW40 or something called GHOO which is an old oil & residue build up goo removal solvent you can get from any hardware store

Good job! You did everything the way that I would've done it, I dont think it can be much easier than that!

You can straighten your crankshaft with a long pipe and brute strength

Thank you for your reply Have you ever successfully transplanted a lawn mower engine to a power washer? If so I would like to see a video on that one Thanks again

If I get equipment in and can make it work I’ll try! The usual issues with making a mower engine work on a washer is A. The engine shutoff, since a mower uses a cable and a pressure washer typically doesn’t, and B. Shaft length. Usually pressure washer engines have shorter shafts (at least from what I’ve seen) and don’t have the pump mount bolt holes. Sometimes you get lucky however!

Excellent video! Is it important to keep the blade with the same engine or better to keep the blade from the deck or any blade as long as same measurements?

Thank you! In the case of these two mowers, they both used the same blade. What you have to watch for is that some mowers use a different blade and/or have a different adapter. If the engine you are putting on has a different adapter (and you don’t feel like changing it) you would need to get a blade to fit it. :)

i dont use a blade removal tool i just use a 4x4 peice of wood its cheaper

I used one of those for a while, but I got to a point where I was changing out multiple blades a day, so I thought it would be worth it to get a tool to make it easier.

i had to get a rachet with a breaker bar and a 6 point socket just to get the blade off! bolt aas almost stripped

Sometimes they can be on there pretty tight! Can be a challenge for sure.

Wack your ratchet with pipe wrench. engine mounting bolts with pop loose.
