Well... Myself i have been developing a city builder and its so much pain to do so as a developer with really small team. (Like atmost 2-3 people working time to time) and a few outside contributors working. We just crossed the road system and it was pretty hard. Hopefully we will try to release it by 2030 atleast.
I almost knew Cities Skylines 2 were to be released. So yeah we tried our best but we couldn't do it.

Before Transport Fever games start to penalise players for traffic jams, Urban really needs to sort out the way the road traffic works. You can have a 4 lane road for example, and all traffic will still use 1 lane.
Actually, no. I recommend yo watch my traffic video. Constructing roads correctly will mean all lanes are used
The thing i still hate about CS, the 'unrealistic' tracks, and thats where TF2 still nails it.

Great comparison. They game looks mega and can't wait to get hands on with it. Do you think this could force the next Transport fever iteration to add more features for light rail? It has been something that I wish was worked on more. I think there is a lot visually and gameplay related I would not mind urban taking from this lol
it looks great! I hope Urban games does sort out the light rail situation. by combining street rails with the ability to connect standard rails soo much more could be done. I have risen this with the developers and they said they would consider it in the future and I also recommended the class 399 which is perfect as it has pantograph and catenary set to the correct height, same as standard rail. if you wish they added this please get in contact and suggest it to them, because this is something i've been campaigning for and would really make everything easier instead of 2 different track types one under road and one under rail. lots of cool new stuff in csl2 and i hope tpf2 devs can learn from it and build on top of an already fantastic game.

The "light rail overhaul" mod just released for transport fever 2 just destroyed this mans whole career 😂😂 nice try pal :)
checked it out! Its great, but you cant run Light rail on the sams tracks as standard, so for me personally i prefer build with collision and tram as train. Thanks for leaving a comment 23100!

I have always wanted the smoother road building from TF2 into CS. But it looks like CS2 has gone above and beyond lol.

@@Hushey we have not seen everything about the train's yet. I don't really expect TF2 levels of coolness for rail building. My one hope is trains can be longer than they are in CS1. One locomotive pulling 5 or six cargo cars is kinda ridiculous to me haha.

Care to explain the difference in your definition? Light rail transit is a form of passenger urban rail transit characterized by a combination of tram and rapid transit features, the vehicles shown in the video are using both rail and rail on road.
@@Husheyin Southeast Asia, light rail usually refer to small-to-medium capacity metro (either using steel-wheel EMU or rubber-tyred APM). They have elevated station and track and can't go into street level. You could search LRT Jakarta, Singapore LRT, or LRT Kelana Jaya.

@@Hushey for example the year system, so unlocking better vehicles and trains over time, and that in older trams you can actually see people sitting, and that someone is actually driving these vehicles, too many to count, so my conclusion is that cities skylines 2 will be more focused on actually building a big and great City, with some transport options, and transport fever 2 is more focused on building a transport empire, so supplying the game-generated cities and etc.
