There's an airport that I don't want to mention where they asked me to strip down my hijab. I told them I can't and was lucky that there was one guy understood why. I kept my hijab and board my plane.
This is unfair and illegal and that guy should be fired. I am christian and in a police control in italy i had to remove my boxer and they checked my ass. And this is right, i didn't complain. . Only you ,the muslims , don't accept other nation laws, then you should be forbidden to walk where you don't respect the law.

I was so grateful for another officer at the gate because he was more emphatic. I honestly couldn't imagine how you felt though. It's unfair, but as for us Muslim woman, hijab is an attire for modesty, and many other Muslim aren't wearing hijab yet, they're also still a Muslim.

Being a Sikh with a turban, I was used to these sorts of checks. You have to understand, they're there for our safety and we need to allow them to do their jobs. Most of the staff are super respectful so we need to be understanding too.

A Canadian airport employee apparently said that there was no flights to Algeria that day (there was) and we had to fly to Germany for less wait time. When we arrived we had to wait 10 hours in Germany until the next flight to Algeria. By the way, we flew to Canada from USA as it was part of the connection flight. I wonder how many other Muslims were victims of this employee. If only we knew better we would have been in Algeria 20 hours before.

I was in some Spanish airport on a school trip and I was meant to be coming back to the uk and the Spanish guy ‘selected’ me and 2 other hijabis even tho the metal detector didn’t go off. He told us to take our scarves off and I said no. He then proceeded to roll his eyes and put this drug detecting wand all over our heads. Other MEN didn’t get pulled aside but the underage hijabis did.
I was also searched at roadblocks and have no problem.
I'm from Europe, flew twice this year and both times I had to take off my shoes, my bags were fully checked, the same as many other none Muslims. A tall Dutch man was even checked for drugs with a swipe, and he looked like a business man. This happens not only to Muslims.

They also had me stop at TSA when we landed back in America and I was only 12 years old
They didn’t question my mother AT ALL but they were on me constantly.
And it didn’t bother me as much until I realized why they didn’t treat others the same way or why I didn’t see anyone else being treated this way.
They made us wait in the TSA waiting room for 2 hours after the flight- only to tell us that it’s ok for us to leave all of a sudden.
I was crying in fear thinking they would arrest me just because I squirted lotion on my hands at a Walgreens when I was like 7 🤣
