Imho I’m more concerned that the sacrificed their parents’ souls to a demon and then killed the soulless bodies and ate them like it was a regular meal. They made beef stew out of their parents and everyone’s focused on the incense. That is the LEAST screwed up thing in this game!

@acrazyweeb7225 idk if I'm right about this, but I think that apart from the girl they killed in their backstory, every "bad" action that they have done(whether their motivations were good or not) has been for the better good, or at least necessary for their survival. They had to eat the cultist to survive, and the wardens and the girl were killed in self defence.
Their parents sold them to organ harvesters and used their deaths for insurance fraud. Then they hired the assassin. The protagonists are deeply messed up individuals and their decisions were completely selfish, but everything they've done was probably the only choice they had.
I think saving the parents would have basically a game over, if Andrew saved them they would probably try to restrain ashley and have her taken away/killed, with Andrew taken to therapy or brainwashed.
@@maksrambe3812I think the mom genuinely loved Andrew… and like him is guilt ridden and horrified at letting her bad parenting turn him into what he is. She let him, forced him to deal with Ashley and be her friend… and Ashley twisted him to what he is. She sees Ashley as a monster and Andrew is now too far gone. I’d bet she let Andrew ‘die’ as a way to save herself the guilt and mercifully end his life before he’s dragged down more. Both Andrew and his mom had those exhausted bags under their eyes, would wager the mom has the same type of guilt.
