Love the video but would you mind can you make a video for conversation between two and person. For example
Bus station
Hospital
Hotel
Interview
Restaurant
Market
And customer care
Thank you for the suggestion.
Do you mean what a conversation would look like between 2 people in a hospital or in a restaurant?
I thought voce isn’t used anymore? In Porto it isn’t, maybe in Lisbon it is?
And what is ten? Tem or tens?
Thanks
Yes, "você" is still used in Portugal. In Portugal, "tu" is more frequently used in informal settings, while "você" tends to be reserved for more formal situations or in certain regions.
"Ten," "tem," and "tens" are forms of the verb "ter" in Portuguese, but they are used in different contexts:
"Ten" is the imperative form of "ter" used with the pronoun "tu." It's used to give commands or orders, like "Ten paciência"
"Tem" is the third person singular form of "ter" in the present tense. It's used when referring to someone or something else, like "Ele tem um carro"
"Tens" is the second person singular form of "ter" in the present tense. It's used when addressing someone directly with the pronoun "tu," like "Tu tens um livro"
@@learnportuguesetodayboth my teachers confirmed that it’s no longer used in Porto
@@learnportuguesetodayI know that but quantos anos tens/tem is right. There is a typing error in the video…
Isn't it should be " Quantos anos tem" instead of "Quanto anos ten"? Because i learnt "quanto" is used in English where we use "how much". 1:58
I apologize. That was a mistake on my part. Thank you for catching that.
