I told my 4 year old son that tonight after dinner we had to put CZcams on our tv because "Rob and Aaron" aka "Rob Arrington" posted a new video for us to watch. As soon as I turned it on he stops me and says "but dad i already watched this one". I didn't know if he was serious or not until he started telling everything that was about to happen. Venice Louisiana has been on my bucket list since I was about 20 and I am 48 right now. I have been deep sea fishing my entire life. I live in Freeport Texas, we have a little 25 foot Robalo that gets the job done, and we are offshore probably 20 or 30 times a year. I captain some charter boats for some friends at times when they have trips and do not wish to go that day. What Rob says hear about it looking easy but being very easy to find yourself in a life-threatening situation is extremely true. It's not like being in a calm Lake with Shore 50 feet away.
This is the best example of the difference between southern and northern fishermen. No argument no fight just enjoying the moment!

Rob I can't tell you how badly I needed this and I'm sure plenty of other people are feeling the same way. We're under quarantine in Orlando and working at home. Haven't been out of the house unless it's to take out the garbage or check the mail. Seeing the road trip and fishing was just amazing. Thank you so much. I can't wait until all of this is over and I can throw a line out in the water.

I could feel the disappointment when the line broke. But then I also saw the excitement in the face when the first shark thought he would eat the fish while it was on the hook. Looks like it was a great day of fishing.

The fishing must be awesome.... I got a hook in my pinky toe with a four pound weight on it, multi- hook line. I love it there, just gotta wear swimmy shoes when swimming. The Blue Parrot is my favorite place to eat there.

Not to take away from how dangerous it was for you to go out in that fog, but that’s nothing compared to launching a boat in the Kissimmee River at Hwy 60 during archery season. All we had to go by at 5am on the river is to follow the grass line. You could not turn on any navigation lights because you could not see anything because of how thick the fog was. You just prayed that another boat was not doing the same thing. Things we do to deer hunt. Great video. Loved the mako.
