Having Spring Break gone forever would be the greatest thing to ever happen to Panama City but Panama City Beach is such a greedy, mindless septic tank now that it'll never happen. Add that to the 100 Miler's that come down, mainly from Alabama, and bring their guns to prey on Spring Breakers and tourists and this part of the state is just not worth much anymore. I grew up in Panama City and I can remember when you could actually drive down front beach road and SEE the beach. Then the developers moved in with their high rise condos and concrete and that's all gone for good. I refuse to even think about going back across the Hathaway bridge anymore. NOTHING in that greedy tourist trap sewage pit makes me want to go out there.
That aerial clip is _not_ of Parkland. Parkland is about 12 miles west of the coast (no ocean or intracoastal). Parkland is technically North(west) of Miami, but it is not a North Miami suburb, nor is Tequesta.
From Valley Forge, PA. Moved to FL at 14. 33 yrs I lived in FL. The landscape, underground springs, Gulf of Mexico all fantastic. No other place in the US like it. Winter time and FL is the only state that's above freezing. Houses were inexpensive. Small business ownership opportunities all over. Now? Forget it. It's turned into CA. It's great if you have money. Florida loves it's citizens money. They're pretty creative in the way it's extorted from their citizens although most states do so. It's bad all over. Can't beat Florida weather and the landscape. Beautiful place.
IF you live in Parkland and feel the need to consider it a "north Miami suburb" it cannot possible be top 10 because, on a good day, you are a solid 90 minutes from Miami. Its on the Broward-Palm Beach line and up against the development boundary.
I have lived in Alafaya woods since last August. I LOVE IT!!! And its just under a 30-minute drive from my lab in Altamonte Springs, near Orlando. They have everything there! No crime, safe neighborhood.
I went to Sarasota to the Ringling Brothers circus museum it was great actually plus I know some really nice Florida DJs at the Embassy I dance the night away For 12 hour of music of best night life plus there is a rooftop pool bar he was really nice to me the grandpa of my best friend Peter Gordon born and raise in Kansas City Missouri
Southwest Florida is a beautiful, and wonderful place to live and work. Its not as bad as people make it out to be. I agree, it is a very diverse state which is what makes Florida so unique. Give it a chance and come visit.
South Florida gets a lot of attraction and it’s really beautiful but a lot of gang members and stuff. It’s very racially diverse tho. South west Florida seems like a nice place to live and start a family

Panama City is still suffering from Hurricane Michael aftermath over 2 years ago...they need to either fix it or level it...lots of new shopping centers have popped up as a result but those old buildings are still standing there all torn up. I live in Bay county (PC Beach) and love it...it’s not Gulf Breeze but it’s home.

Southwest florida on the gulf coast side is nice. My snow bird parents used to stay at Tropical Palms over 55 community in Punta Gorda. November thru April the weather is pleasant. Sanibel Island, Manatee Park and the Peace River wildlife sanctuary, bird hospital at Ponce De Leon Park were my favorite places to visit. Florida is very flat with orchards growing many species of oranges. Highest elevation 5 feet above sea level in the Everglades.
Fun fact: if you’re a pro wrestling fan there are many pro wrestlers who actually live in Florida. Some of them born and raised, while others who have moved from other states or countries. And WWE and AEW are both headquartered in Florida.

Oh Parkland exit on I 95 had so many people exiting it caused back ups on highway as early as 2pm. Wish me luck in trying to escape New Jersey and move back to Florida as I try to land a job in the central or north side of Florida. Do you ever do any locations with best of places for jobs. I’m just not big on the gated neighborhoods in Florida takes time to get in and out.

IMO, my favorite area is the Jensen Beach area and Hutchison Island about 40 miles north of West Palm Beach along the Atlantic Coast. Great Video, I have been to half of the cities, where my favorites are along the Atlantic Coast.

One thing forgotten about FLA in general is there's a shipload of old people here just dyin' to leave making properties constantly available at prices you wouldn't believe for cash! Property taxes also low versus up North for sure! Heating/cooling costs about 30% of Michigan. Homes, businesses, & vehicles air conditioned, so if you can make the hobble in between each you can withstand the heat. Police won't kill you just for practice down here either versus up North! Just take this info for what it's worth as I might be a bit out of touch. Grandfather was Henry Ford's first assistant in 1901, plus to me Harry Truman President of USA year I shot 1st game animal & not that old insane dude giving Mt. The reason this list skews so heavily toward Miami is because that's where all the New Yorkers go and they have disproportionate amounts of wealth compared to the rest of the country. They can pay for the best education and price out anyone who would commit crimes from living anywhere near them.

I live in middle fl Deland we have a beautiful school Stetson collage with tree lined streets we are closed to Orange city and Debary that are small town's we also have Beautiful springs and closed to Beautiful lake Monroe but we really don't need more people here our rent and housing market is really going up

I've lived in Orlando all my life and this list has changed drastically! Almost every place you mentioned gets hit by mother nature the worst. Homestead was completely wiped out. My in-laws live in Naples and it's the most boring place ever. There's nothing to do after dark. Not including the fact that 60% of NY and California are all now moving here. My husband just retired last week 32 YRS law enforcement and we're living on prison grounds. We have 30 days to move but are being forced to move out of Florida away from all our friends and family because there's no property inventory left😥ya I wouldn't plan to move here if I were you.🙏💖🍀

I did the NJ to FL move 30 years ago. I still miss things about the Garden State but not the snow.

I'm surprised. Best places to live are in the southeast and northwest corners of the state? Nothing in central Florida (Orlando and Gainesville areas)? Nothing in northeast Florida (Jacksonville area)?
IMO, my favorite area is the Jensen Beach area and Hutchison Island about 40 miles north of West Palm Beach along the Atlantic Coast.
Great Video, I have been to half of the cities, where my favorites are along the Atlantic Coast.

One thing forgotten about FLA in general is there's a shipload of old people here just dyin' to leave making properties constantly available at prices you wouldn't believe for cash! Property taxes also low versus up North for sure! Heating/cooling costs about 30% of Michigan. Homes, businesses, & vehicles air conditioned, so if you can make the hobble in between each you can withstand the heat. Police won't kill you just for practice down here either versus up North! Just take this info for what it's worth as I might be a bit out of touch. Grandfather was Henry Ford's first assistant in 1901, plus to me Harry Truman President of USA year I shot 1st game animal & not that old insane dude giving Mt. St. Helens the finger while it blew him and his lodge to oblivion. I may be kinda old, but the above is how we found things here when retired 10 yrs ago!

How about 10 best places in Wisconsin and Iowa? My top 10 Wisconsin places include East Troy, Mukwonago, Darien, Elkhorn, Burlington, Clinton, Baraboo, Oconomowoc, Walworth and Campbellsport. My top 10 Iowa places include Low Moor, Calamus, Mechanicsville, Lisbon, Fairfax, Bellevue, LeClaire, Marshalltown, Boone and River Sioux.

The reason this list skews so heavily toward Miami is because that's where all the New Yorkers go and they have disproportionate amounts of wealth compared to the rest of the country. They can pay for the best education and price out anyone who would commit crimes from living anywhere near them.

I live in middle fl Deland we have a beautiful school Stetson collage with tree lined streets we are closed to Orange city and Debary that are small town's we also have Beautiful springs and closed to Beautiful lake Monroe but we really don't need more people here our rent and housing market is really going up

I've lived in Orlando all my life and this list has changed drastically! Almost every place you mentioned gets hit by mother nature the worst. Homestead was completely wiped out. My in-laws live in Naples and it's the most boring place ever. There's nothing to do after dark. Not including the fact that 60% of NY and California are all now moving here. My husband just retired last week 32 YRS law enforcement and we're living on prison grounds. We have 30 days to move but are being forced to move out of Florida away from all our friends and family because there's no property inventory left😥ya I wouldn't plan to move here if I were you.🙏💖🍀
