Repower | Honda 250HP Drive by Wire on Cruise Craft 685 Outsider

Dave O'Neal repowered a pre-owned stock boat (Cruise Craft 685 Outsider) with a new, drive-by-wire, Honda 250HP outboard. It now gets 50% further from the same tank of fuel as it did with its old EFI 2-stroke, 225HP power plant.

You could never own the motor long enough to recoup in fuel what the motor costs. Unnecessary replacement just exerts industrial pollution on the planet for no good reason.
