I agree with some of the comments below: rather than confiding in Callum and explaining how deep the scars are, he stomps off to be with Lewis -- the very person Callum asked him not to see and who he promised not to see. (Previously, as the kiss from Lewis, Ben said to Callum, "you can't think I'm interested in him." Well, Ben, I guess you are....)
