  • Part4 of the "Make your own #diy #campervan from a #panelvan" series. This is where we remove the old ply lining from the walls, wheel arches and flooring, then fit the sound damping deadening material, stick the insulation down to keep the inside of the van warm, and start the long task of making new ply panels and capeting the inside of the van. Neil from RetroManCave pops in as a guest star!!

      @DubiousEngineering  Před 5 lety +2

      Thanks Mr Boman! ... the effort spent of this project so far has been immense... that laid-back approach is because I’m so shattered! ... hahah... joking apart, the energy levels got really low occasionally... I have loads more cracking footage to edit up, some electrical and some mechanical... can’t wait to show you! Sincere thanks for your kind comments!

    What insulation did you use and did you leave an air gap between the insulation and the metal wall of the van?

    • @DubiousEngineering
      @DubiousEngineering  Před 5 lety +1

      We used the closed cell foam, silver front, adhesive backed. About three layers was enough with a 1” gap to the metal
