It's worse because the US, and likely most other countries, don't really have any laws regarding stalking. The victim has to be physically attacked for the cops to actually step in, and by then, it's often too late. Yet they won't change anything.

One of my Exes took it badly when I discovered she was cheating on me, tried to ruin my life by telling the Police I'd SA her, went into graphic details about where she was, how I kidnapped her, what exactly happened and for how long, how I'd drove her home after etc.. I got arrested and held for 24 hours while they questioned me.. Was put on bail.. Turns out, the day I allegedly attacked her, the same week, I wasn't even in the same county and I was at LEAST 6 hours drive visiting friends. All proven. I lost a lotof friends who originally took her side and stil did even after proof, because all men are abusers right??
Because of her I've never truly trusted another woman since and I don't think I ever will.
My messed up "crazy ex" relationship was my most recent one. No abuse either way and it ended amicably but then after I lost all of our friends, got told I was a sociopath etc. The guy she ended up with was worse and I more recently got an apology but I am done with everyone who ditched me. The other difficult breakups came after toxic relationships.

1st story was full of incompetence

I take Vyvanse which takes two hours to work and accidentally took it at bedtime and was up in 3 hours and couldn't sleep at all.
I had an ex that i caught cheating but she couldnt accept it so she did anything to try to get me back. Including nonstop calling & texting even when i blocked her # she would use other ppl's phones. So i had to change my # so since i had met her on a chat app she made fake profiles but id figure out it was her by the way she texted only 1 time she did get it past me so i had to change my # again. Another thing she did on that chat & female that left a comment on my pix or she saw them talk to me she would message them & pretend we were together & or that we had kids together so i was denying my kids which was a lie. She'd also lied & told them i had a little 1 or that i was horrible in bed & was a 1 minute man. Which was funny because when she'd beg me to take her back she'd said no1 ever phucked her how i did & other explicit things. As far as how she tried getting me back is she said she would help me get other females into a 3some since she was bi. She'd also said she would be my slave & do anything i wanted. She also threatened suicide

I can tag in on this one: long ago when I was 10 (M) I had a girlfriend also 10, she broke up with me through a message on a website called Hyves. I replied with: "Ok". After a month she send me another message in which she said it was just a test and she wanted to see how I reponded to it. To which I replied again with an: "Ok". After a while in which I never saw her I decided to go out with my friends sister. Suddenly I got multiple death threats from her class mates because she said I was cheating on her. To which I responded with: "Wait, we were back together? I didn't know we were." She blocked me and I never sae her again.

Story 1, WHY does it always take the cops so long to take these types of situations seriously? The number of serious or even close to serious events that happen or couldâve happened that couldâve been prevented had they done so is INSANE
