- The three reasons that made the 2023 Norco Fluid fsA2 the obvious choice. It's an award winning bike from both pinkbike and vitalmtb and rightfully so. This is both a bike check video as well as a commentary on why I bought the bike.

🚲2022 Norco Fluid fsA2 - Sport
That bike is sick in person. Looks hungry for steep stuff. Glad to run into you Milton, caused me to realize my Shapeshifter needed tuning. All good now, see you on them trails brotha! Cheers!
Likewise man! Good chatting with you. See you on the trails man 👊
That is crazy geo for a 130 trail bike. It's longer and has more reach than an Ibis Ripmo in the same frame size, and the Ripmo is an AM bike that leans more towards the enduro side. The FS1 build is also amazing, for 4 grand you get fox factory suspension and full XT drivetrain and brakes.
Crazy right! What’s more nuts is that it all seems to work together nicely. The FS1 is a killer deal also.
Agreed!! Short travel enduro geo is so much fun especially greer. Recently built up a transition smuggler, and the local trails came more alive.
Right?!?! It’s a such a fun riding experience; climbs and descents
@MILTONATOR makes you a better rider aswell. Having to adapt and learn how to get through stuff you used to just plow through is a fun process.
@@chriscalomino5229 100% man
So sick, I have a Sight and love it. Been looking at the Fluid too.
Thanks man! My first Norco. Stoked on it for sure
Picked up same model a couple weeks ago…great bike right out of the box!
100% congrats!
Bikes dope , I want one foreal !!
Thanks man!
This video is just what I needed. I currently own the same Ibis Ripley 21 and I was thinking to upgrade to this Norco Fs2. Do you really think this Norco FS2 is a better bike In terms of performance and components? I would appreciate the help!
100% man! Still pushing it hard and no issues with anything. Very solid build and the geometry is spot on for taking on the ruff stuff. Now, if you’re ride more XC and dont care too much for the downhills, the the Ripley is probably better suited.
Looks like a nice bike.
Thanks. It is 😊
I’m with you on this one… build for the price is really impressive.
Thanks! Really great bike
Good day Milton! What happened to your Santa Cruz Bronson? Nice bike though! 😊👏
Hey Alvin. Sold it. Wanted to ride an aggressive trail bike, like this one
I got the same bike in a Medium. I'm still waiting for the snow to be gone and trails to dry out. have had it out and it rides well
Nice! Congrats
What's your height?
@@andreashabeck1155 5 foot 9 inches
@@andreashabeck1155I think he said 5’9 in the video. I’m 5’8 but I think I will go medium. I wish I was close to a shop to sit on one to see the reach difference.
Great review of a great bike. How much does he weight ?
Thanks! Haven’t weighed it yet 🙂
Norco makes a great bike. If you get a chance you should test ride some Intense bikes. There factory is very close to you in Temecula California and the owner of the company is in that shop and very helpful. He even picks up the phone sometimes if you call. Intense makes a great bike.
That’s a great idea. Their new Tracer looks super fun and updated
@@MILTONATOR I rode a few Intense bikes and everyone was amazing. Jeff the owner is very friendly and will give you a tour of place for your channel.
@@Dempsey222 no way! Will have to definitely do this. Thanks
It doesn't sound like enough travel in the rear suspension - is that one of the things you plan on upgrading in the near future?
Already did. I overstroked it and running around 143mm now
Disregard my original comment about privateer. They have really raised their prices. Congrats on the Norco.
I bought Commencal Meta’s from 2016 to 2020 with the prices maintain in in the $3700 rand for their race build. Then COVID hit and prices went up, as with most everything else
How does it compare with your commencal meta tr?
A lot more lively. The TR felt a bit more lower to the ground and felt more plowy. The fluid rides a bit higher and lighter on its feet. Climbs a whole lot better though
Canyon Spectral 125 for $3000 USD is a very hard bike to beat. Very well spec’d and very good Geo. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Yep! I researched the Spectral 125 a whole lot but there were just too many negative experiences shared on Facebook group Canyon Spectral Owners 🤷🏻♂️
@@MILTONATOR oh ok. I didn’t know there was a group. I’ll have to look into it. I’m thinking about getting one. Thanks for the fast response.
@@MILTONATOR The issues are mainly for the carbon version (bottom bracket). The alloy version is rock solid. I own a Spectral 29 and that's amazing too. And just today, I bought my son a Fluid FS A3 - what a well built bike!
@@hambo76 that makes sense now. When I looked at Canyon I was in the market for a carbon 125. Happy new bike day to your son 🙌
@@MILTONATOR Thank you!
wish they'd offer the alloy frame as a frameset instead of just with the carbon version
Agree. The good thing is the components are good enough for resale. I upgraded the fork and shock at a net cost of 300 without much of an issue selling the stock parts
How tall are you pls?thank you So much..
5’ 9”
Not knocking Vittoria or Marzocchi by saying this but for the price of this bike, it is rather pricey for what you get.
Agree to disagree
