The Sooty Show - A Job In TV

Matthew has seen jobs advertised for TV presenters and announcers at Thames Television and wants to apply. He practices his interviewing technique on Sooty but the little bear doesn't seem very impressed. Sooty tells Sweep and Soo about Matthew's plan to apply for a job in TV and they pretend they're on television. Soo introduces Sooty first and he does a tap dance. Then she introduces Sweep who then does a funny little ballet dance. Then Sooty, Sweep and Soo go to see Matthew to see how he's getting on with his interviewing technique and he tells them he wants to make a video recording of himself doing an interview with them all. But first Sooty, Sweep and Soo go to get washed and changed into their best clothes before they do the interview. Soo decides to wear a black cocktail dress with a pearl necklace, Sooty wears a smart black jacket with shirt and tie and Sweep wears a green dress of Soo's, which she is not happy about at all!! Then they all go to Matthew's room to be interviewed, but Matthew tells Sooty and Sweep that he's decided he will only interview Soo, which Sooty and Sweep are not best pleased about. Matthew records his interview with Soo on video so he can show the tape to the lady he has to see at Thames TV, but unknown to him, Sooty and Sweep sabotage it by standing in front of the camera and waving while Matthew is doing his interview.
