Last year my mom surprised me for my birthday (September) with A TON of outdoor decor! It was so awesome, so this year I'm looking for more indoor things!

So my husband and I got a new puppy on the day of our last dogs passing anniversary (neither of us knew, I hate thinking of it) and I can’t wait to get her into Halloween costumes, she’s very chill but she had her first Pup Cup yesterday and I want to show it to every person on the planet. I like seeing the mixture of stores because it helps us to see more variety and gives us more of a chance to find the items. Single store videos would limit what we see at any given time.
I went to Goodwill last week to drop stuff off and had my skeleton, Bones, in the front seat (normally he’s in the back). The woman who was helping me pack the rolling bin asked me what his name was and we had a whole “normal” chat about it. 🤣 It IS normal to have our boney partners in our cars at this point!

Kirkland’s Halloween Decor this year is AWESOME! I saw sneak peeks of their Halloween line from an employee it’s suppose to start coming out in the middle of August; but they have Fall starting to come out now which includes some black and gold pumpkins, wicker pumpkins etc.
The skeleton hands one looks like it holds a tea light candle sort of.
Some bomb ass candle (dope ass/dopeness).. mmhmm❕
Some industry trend predictor said "Gnomes are the next big thing!!!" then every store decided to go all in.
I pictured the pandemic stalled production on all decor last year and head execs were like "what do we have already in bulk and in stock that we can pass off as Halloween decorations!?" "Eh....Gnomes?" And now they're just always there.
I work at bath and body works and we have started putting out fall candles. No Halloween yet, but fall and lots of pumpkin scented.
The music for dramatic effect is EXACTLY how I feel when I don’t find Halloween stuff! 😂 And, I’m totally with you on the gnomes… like, why? They’re EVERYWHERE all throughout the year!!!! 🤔

I only noticed last year that Hobby Lobby doesn’t sell anything Halloween related.
Yeah, I assume it's the Christian thing. Which is silly because my church always has a nice little Halloween gathering every year (except 2020, of course) and it's not even on Halloween like a lot of churches so it's not that we're trying to steer people away from other Halloween stuff. We just like to have fun activities and get people together. They even have a lightweight scare maze sometimes. I mean, it's a church, you can't get too gory. But yeah, Hobby Lobby seems to be of the thinking that some folks have that you can't be Christian and enjoy spooky stuff. Which is crazy because some Christians scare the crap out of me, lol.

I read that they don’t carry Halloween items because it conflicts with their religious beliefs.
Same with the Catholic Church I attended growing up, we had a whole Halloween carnival. Not necessarily on Halloween but in the days leading up to it. It’s just silly imo to ignore Halloween. It’s for kids to dress up and get candy these days. I feel like most people don’t know or care about anything else concerning Halloween.
