That last fish you caught was the one that got away from me in 2021.. same spot.. was fixing my backlash and when I finished I just dragged my friends homemade soft trout lure on the bottom and it hit. Didn’t think I had anything cause it was so heavy and then she jumped and spit it. Glad you got her 👍

I was initially thinking this bait would be way too big for my CO/WY/NE fish but this kinda changed my mind. Rigging with a belly treble changes things a lot.

my god, both videos were amazing. Do you think that float style could be done with a paddle tail bait rather than a boot tail? Obviously the boot tail seems better because you're working it slow with bursts, but I'm wondering if we could do something similar with a citizen 7 rigged line thru with some foam for floatation (because I missed the tyrant drop)
