Is UK Graduate Visa going to be cancelled?! - 2023 Updates!

- I cover the possibility of a graduate visa in the UK (or PSW/Graduate route/Post-study work visa) being cancelled or changed in 2023 or the near future. The graduate visa was introduced in the UK in July 2021. Now, in 2023 I want to provide some updates on the reality of post-graduate work permit/post-study work visa in the UK. Graduate Route/Visa, or sometimes called PSW, is currently under the radar of the Home Secretary as one of the ways to reduce total immigration to the UK. In this video, I also share the recent statistics and reality from students who already have a graduate visa, or graduate route/PSW in the UK in 2023.
I will also talk about the eligibility for Graduate Visa, why you shouldn't just rely on PSW to work and live in the UK long-term and how you might not be eligible for Graduate Visa post-graduation. I will cover some crucial things to keep in mind if you wish to switch to this post-study immigration route or post-study work permit in 2023 or later! In summary, the graduate visa is great, but you need to know the reality of it.

If it is no longer there, you won't be eligible, but hopefully, it will still be there! we have to wait and see what changes and policies the government will announce!

Hello valeria i have successfully completed my msc program in the UK but my school said they will not send my results to the home office because I still owe tuition debt.

mam i got conditional offer letter in uk,if i completed my 2 years program in 2025, the new psw rules for 6 months will affects me or else i can able to get psw visa with 2 years ,please clarify my doubt,
I am not an immigration advisor, and we haven't seen any news announced yet, so I can't tell you for sure. But I think that your eligibility will depend on when you graduate, not on when you started the course, so if the rules change by the time you graduate, you will need to follow new rules of graduate visa.
