i saw lorna's show when she came to my town! i cried like a baby because she sounded so much like judy! i love lorna, and i could listen to her sing judy's songs all day long! :)
Love Lorna who always does Judy with love and utmost respect!! LOL when she talks about Judy's tragic book! You have to laugh when confronting your own problems and Judy did this so well!
I like her honesty and how she is keeping her mother's legacy alive. She also wrote that memoir Me and my shadows ,which became a TV movie, which show's the tough deturbed mother was ill with her prescription medication addiction. WE Radharaman'd see how ill, probably the horrific and really disturbing is usually not spoken of, Lorna doesn't have the talent of her famous mother and ssiter,i'veseen her sing on TV, and Thea InternetNow like her mother, not liker her sister. t sister. Her mother had a voice powerfully sweet anss he rule the concert stage for awhile. Lorna was let behind some shows, a few Mies, but nothing took of. Lorna had a modicum of talents and voice, She Still preforms in manly small cabaret setting, where I saw her 2003
I laughed when she says she wanted to take on her Mother's musical legacy "so people wouldn't forget" ..Judy's legacy would never be forgotten and still is gaining fans even 41 yrs after her death. We can watch Judy's movies and TV clips. Lorna never even had a signature song. I'm tired of Lorna going back and forth complaining about not being given an even break because of her famous Mother & sister, only to sing the songs that made were her mother's songs. Using Judy as a meal ticket again.
If what Lorna said about the tragedy book was true LMAO Judy was a riot then!! Joan Rivers says the same thing you had to laugh at your saddest moments or one dies!!
@firefliesuk I respect that the fact you weren't "snarky" with your disagreement w/ me. I was in Lorna & Sid Luft's comanay once & she was making false statements & Sid corrected her many times. She didnt have an answer for her father who called her on many of her comments. Lorna was famous about complaining about her Mother & living in her shadow.Liza made it big with signature songs of her own.Lorna never had any material to call her own so now she is on "Mama"s Bandwagon"
Both talented girls from a talented mother. We all have our own perspective so I wouldn't condemn her. I think the interviewer was getting very boring going on about addiction. Old story, lady.
There are videos on CZcams showing her coked out while performing yet she says that she wasn’t addicted even though she did a stint in the Betty Ford Center to overcome her addiction. She speaks of taking responsibility yet seems to not be fully able to do so. There has always been something off-putting about Lorna. She has spent the majority of her career piggybacking off of her mothers legacy. Writing her book about her mother then making a television movie from her book and now performing shows singing Judy’s famous songs. An original she definitely is not. The “It” factor clearly stopped at Liza Minnelli.

She really had it down about Judy's hardships...and from what I've read about those peoples lives, she has an awesome outlook and perspective.
No one can compare to JUdy but love Lorna and Liza s acting singing and love thier personalities but Judy was the best ever funny too !
