This isn’t about who’s the biggest. Jackie Chan in a way is bigger than Bruce lee too. The point is bruce lee has no contemporary like at all. Jackie, donnie and jet li all are contemporary to each other but bruce lee never was. Michael Jackson the biggest and greatest artist alive who’s the most famous person we ever witnessed with our eyes even has contemporary which was prince.

As far as the outspoken attitude, the arrogance, the brashness, and the rebelliousness, Bruce is definitely another immortalized icon much like Tupac is to rap. Like Tupac, he is seen as the epitome of his craft. Bruce is also seen as infallible. Same as Tupac. Lately, Bruce Lee has been called out as a user of recreational drugs. The Coc@ine letters have been released to the world for all to see, and very soon, an unfiltered, fearless soul will reveal to the world the receipts of Tupac’s drug use, and then Tupac’s erratic behavior will finally be understood by everyone.

Michael is right on this - the difference between Bruce Lee and other martial artists is a lot bigger than the difference between 2Pac and other rappers, and Pac is my GOAT btw. Bruce Lee isn't just levels above his peers, he is light years ahead of them. Plus combat arts is a much bigger, older human enterprise, because it's something that has been evolving since the birth of human species, which is let's call it roughly 150 thousand years(maybe more than that), hip hop has been around for about 50 years give or take. But Vlad is absolutely right that Pac is levels above Biggie and Jay Z, they can't see him, he is untouchable.

To this day I still have Bruce Lee memorabilia that I bought back in the 70s when I was into martial arts. Books, posters, anything with his name or face on it. Used to save my allowance and head to the pharmacy every week to purchase the latest "Black Belt", "Karate Illustrated", or "Kung-Fu" magazine. If they had Bruce Lee on the cover (and they almost always did) it was a guaranteed purchase. Can't count how many times I saw his movies. I watched "The Green Hornet" just to see Kato in action. Bruce even influenced fashion (those jumpsuits), music ("Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting"), and even bodybuilding to some degree. It's hard to imagine anyone else popularizing and then dominating their sport/art the way Bruce did. Before Bruce, martial arts was simply not in the larger public conscious. You can't say that about Michael Jackson or 2Pac or any music artist. You can't say that the general public didn't have an interest in music prior to those guys (as great as they were). Bruce gave us martial arts on the big screen and then remained the ultimate icon decades later.
