I live right next to Macy. Despite a sheriff knocking on our doors to evacuate us, most people on our street right closest to the fires evacuated. Everyone was flooding their yards and houses. The smoke was crazy and I almost threw up from the smoke inhalation. So glad everyone is okay

Just another area that has burned all the time for centuries! Building houses in prone fire areas is not smart!

Back in the early 1990's my dad and would drive from San Diego to LA and we would take interstate 15 and every summer that area would catch 🔥🔥🔥🔥 fire.

Just imagine if the California State Legislature took even half of the money that spend every year on putting out fires and spent it on forest management.

😂 like the 24 billion CA spent on homeless, which absolutely made no impact if not attracted more homeless.

Can’t say for certain but one of my neighbors (we live right in front of the fire) said he recorded a man running down from the trail in the ortegas and was being really suspicious

If people was not lazy and cut the brush down we not have as many fires cut the brush down on the spring why its green and give it another cut a second time
