- Has Baguio City changed us? It’s been a long time since we headed back to the mountains - and the first time we did was only 4 days into our Philippines journey. Back then we didn’t know anything, we didn’t think we would even still be here and yet we are still evolving the further we go on. Baguio was the first city we had our scary encounter with. Baguio was the first bit of green we had seen, and Baguio pushed us even further outside of our comfort zones to a point where we felt completely uncomfortable. Everything has changed.

Baguio City still has its charms even if the cold season is not that really hitting much at all nowadays, and it was crowded during the Panagbenga Festival as well, which always happens annually anyway. Hope you'll discover more of the city's tourists spots that you've never been to during your first trip last year. Looking forward to the next spot you're going to soon.

Everything really is just about perspective. It's how you choose to see the glass either half full or half empty. Places, things, they take time to change but the appreciation will take a lot faster to sink in once you open your eyes and see things in a different light. Acceptance is the key.

Filipinos in general admires and fascinated with white people. So if they stares at you, it means they were fascinated of you guys and if you wave or say hi at them, im sure they will love it and that will be a good start to make friends with locals. Awwww...my home for almost 2 decades. I never really got out to watch any Panagbenga parade live. I would rather watch through the television. Otherwise, I will have to walk 4kms to get home. Traffic is really bad during the season, especially the day before, during, and after the grand parade. It will be the city that I will always consider my 2nd home and will always go back to. Seeing you walk up and down the streets is making me cry of envy 🥺😅... Happy Panangbenga!!

Hello Wisty family welcome to my home town Baguio city🌲🇵🇭 ..for me this is the best place to live in the whole Philippines..i love love Baguio..the people are friendly .the city..food cheaper than in Manila..yes a lots of white taxi around..no worry the taxi here they are good honest driver..not like in the big city Manila..i wish i can give you a tour for free a lots of good places to visit here surely you gonna enjoy .
.Whew from the acommodation to Good Taste did you walk guys..thats a long walk..i saw the foods you ordered that was pretty good👍..
Good taste is the biggest restaurant ..6 floor.. hahaha.. locals favourite restaurant..

December-January-February is the coolest Baguio gets, there are even times when they get hail there. Late last year/early this year in particular was very chilly, the strawberry harvests in neighboring La Trinidad Valley couldn't ripen properly. September isn't very cool. I spent my childhood Februaries and summers there in a log cabin because my grandfather would attend the alumni homecoming at the Philippine Military Academy, so Baguio is so much a part of my childhood

Kids here in the Philippines plays with the spider, we make the spider fight each other, we also go to bushes at night just to catch spider that is good for fighting.

just say hi!, hello! w/ a smile to break the ice that's the trick because stares are normal in every different country you go, even a Filipino going around Africa or other parts of Europe, S.America or even just around countries in Asia will also get a lot of stares from the locals but one thing I can tell you for sure is that Filipinos respond the most friendly. Anyways, I hope you guys were able to watch & witness the beautiful Float parade just happened yesterday because it is usually very crowded but well managed/organized event.
