Barbara is a sweet, lovely lady. She is so NICE to all of the guests, and so appreciative. She's a delightful, talented Scottish woman whom we all adore. And she has a lovely family, too.
Was at her show in Edinburgh last night (30/03/22) and she was superb. A huge Scottish talent.
She is ill now and cancelled rest of tour.

The utterly fantastic Barbara Dickson who I used to listen to as a young lad when I sneaked down the little lane in Chalmers Street in Barbara’s hometown in Dunfermline listening to the folk singers rehearsing and at that time I didn’t know that Barbara was one of those singers. But of course Barbara went on to much bigger and better things so god bless you “Babs” you’ve made Dunfermline proud.

@@bryanfranks Because it has a tainted history. Many of the subjects of that prog were later revealed to be despicable monsters. Jimmy Saville...Gary Glitter etc etc
Yep, the show hasn't stood the test of time, a bit cheesy and awkward, nothing against Barabara who is of legendary status, an honest star...
