I'm confident and happy no matter who they draft, just like a bad organization can bring a young man down the opposite is true. Ballard is in it for the long haul baby and I cant wait to see the fruits of their labors. Go Colts.

You know I'm not sure ballard should sound this confident. He's won 1 playoff game his whole tenure. He shouldn't sound completely confident in his draft abilities, because he has proven nothing.
@@matrixxbloodI agree it’s time for us to step up and make a run in the playoffs but it’s tough to argue against Ballard’s success in the draft. He & his
team are as good as it gets imo when it comes to the draft. If you look back at all his draft picks since he’s been with the Colts, he’s hit on a high % of players that went on to have successful careers. You can’t say that about a lot of GM’s
@cm9144 he has had nothing but mid player pics in the draft outside of a few. He needs better picks that are high quality.

@@TheBlueHeavyHorseshoe yeah, I suppose. It's the hardest position in sports to draft and many GM's have been fired trying to force a QB only to set themselves back 5+ years.
Overall, I thought he handled the QB situation well enough. He tried to trade up for Herbert, but couldn't get a trade partner. Settled with some stop gap FAs with varying degrees of success and then finally got his guy last year. The only move I did not like at all was Wentz and that was Frank's guy. I liked the Ryan pick, so it would be hypocritical for me to critique him on that one.
So sure, in a perfect world the turnaround would have been instant. But let's be realistic - how often does that actually happen? Overall I think he did a decent job given the circumstances. Certainly not perfect, but this is real life, not madden.

Ballard is drafting Terrion Arnold and is already saying it's the coaches fault if he doesn't work out lol that means Gus and staff will be the fall guys.the LSU WR said that Cool Aide was the better of the 2 CB's . I would like and some other Colts Fans want them to draft an Elite WR like Harrison Jr,Nabers or Thomas Jr. some like Odunze I like Thomas Jr. better he is faster , Bigger and will be better long term. How many Elite players Colts have on roster ? Nelson , Buckner and JT. Everyone else is either unproven or average or a good player like MPJ

We went to the playoffs in 2020.
@@TWP13 and still lost. Having home field advantage in playoffs matters in today’s league. If he truly cared deeply about being division winners and having a home playoff game or two, he would’ve proven that within a year or two. Like hes not trying hard enough for that to happen, yet he’s making it look not so hard to go down in 10 years as an nfl GM to be on a team for 10 yrs or more without a single division title to his name. If that what he’s want to be known in history for, he makes it look very easy.

I can tell everyone will hate this draft on the Colts end. I don't see them getting anyone that we will like. I don't see them getting MHJ or Brock Bowers. I don't think they will get another receiver at all. This man really thinks Alec Pierce is a good receiver. A guy who hasn't grown at all. A guy who has drop the ball more than Josh Downs even though Downs got better in his rookie season. With the Colts we use to have some elite level talent at receiver. Now it's just a joke. After the team choking to make the playoffs again maybe they will realize the fact that they have no guys that get open but Downs. Defense might get better but again something you can find in the draft as well. Their are some guys who can help.
This guy is so overrated! Ballard has done nothing in Indy. Griggson had a winning record, unlike this clown. He will probably take a DL with the the 15th pick. Indy as an organization is a joke 🤡

@@keenynman34 unless it’s the number one pass rusher in the draft, all them other ones aren’t truly bona fide to succeed. We need a watt, Garrett, Bosa, parsons, Hutchinson but this draft doesn’t have that in one guy this year

19-21 first round talents ballard think is in this draft. he also said it was extremely top heavy. This indicates that the top 7 Defensive prospects are probably going to be in range for us at 15
