Car Payments EXPLODING And PEOPLE ARE FALLING FOR IT!

  • People do a lot of stupid things. But having a car payment that's over $1000 a month especially when you don't have the income to support it is one that takes the cake in recent history. Amount of people that are signing up for this is pretty alarming and even if you can't afford it, it's still dumb. No wonder we're starting to see the repossessions tick up.

Saving at least 20% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of investing in the stock market and potentially grow your retirement savings over time.

I retired at 53 always paid cash for cars and motorcycle when I was younger, if you don't have debt life is much easier. Keep an eye on banks they're going to be in big trouble repossessing all these cars and commercial properties.
I think it will start with the stock markets imploding starting in August.. Sept.. or Oct when most stock selloff happens.
If you can hold more cash and patiently wait into 2025 and see what happens.

But now that I'm more rational, I realize that to be truly worthy of $100K+ luxury cars you should have enough money to pay cash for it and destroy it the next day and go buy another one. That's the level of money you really need to justify a huge expense like that. Being able to afford a $2k+ car payment is a totally different scenario. If you have to sacrifice a bunch of your income every month to it, just buy something sensible and use the extra money to build more wealth. $2K a month will buy you a property somewhere that pays for itself and increases in value over the long term
